Ethan leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers.

"Okay, we're here to discuss our... Mr. Devil King's soft side," Ethan said, his voice laced with sarcasm.

Alexander raised an eyebrow.

"Soft side? I'm still the same person, Ethan."

Ethan snorted.

"Really? Then explain why your niece, Emily, convinced you to adopt a 'no-torture policy'?"

Alexander shrugged.

"Emily's got a good heart. I couldn't say no."

Ethan's eyes narrowed.

"And now, you're making exceptions for... civilians? What's next? Tea parties with the competition?"

Alexander chuckled.

"Ethan, you're being dramatic."

Ethan's face turned deadpan.

"I'm being realistic, Alexander. You're the mafia king. You can't afford soft spots."

Alexander leaned forward.

"Ethan, I'm still the same person. I'll do whatever it takes to protect my family... and our business."

Ethan raised an eyebrow.

"Family? You mean Emily and... others?"

Alexander's expression turned icy.

"Ethan, don't go there."

Ethan grinned.

"Ah, I see. So, there is someone else. Someone who's making our fearless leader go soft."

Alexander sighed.

"Ethan, focus."

Ethan leaned back.

"Fine. But know this: if anyone compromises your position or our organization, they're gone."

Alexander's eyes flashed.

"Ethan, don't threaten anyone. You'll regret it."

Ethan's expression turned grim.

"I'm just keeping you in check, Alexander. For your own good."

Alexander shook his head.

"You're worse than Emily. At least she bakes me cookies and steal and eat them too."

Ethan rolled his eyes.

"Cookies? You're being bribed by baked goods?"

Alexander smirked.

"Hey, Emily's cookies are legendary."

Vinnie, standing guard outside, whispered to himself.

"Note to self: Avoid mafia meetings. Especially when they discuss 'soft spots' and cookies."

Ethan stood.

"Meeting adjourned. Alexander, don't forget: our organization comes first."

Alexander nodded.

"Got it, Ethan. But don't worry, I can multitask."

Ethan raised an eyebrow.

"Multitask?"

Alexander grinned.

"Run the mafia and have a social life. It's called balance, Ethan."
