"Why are you packing our things, Mommy? Where are we going, Po?" Eve asked her mother as she settled herself in bed.
"Well, your Dada Made and I have decided that we are going back to the Philippines tomorrow. It's the country where your Dada Made and I were born," Yve responded to her daughter.
"Are we living there permanently, Po?" Eve asked her mother again.
"Well, I guess so. If everything goes well, then we will stay there," Yve replied as she zipped up their suitcase.
She then went to their bed and settled beside her daughter, tucking her in and turning off the light beside her.
The room fell silent, and Yve thought her daughter was already asleep. She was surprised when another question came from her daughter.
"Mommy, are we going to see Daddy?" Eve asked.
Yve couldn't think of a response and didn't know what to say, but she sat down and firmly answered her daughter.
"Well, yes, baby," Yve responded, feeling uneasy.
"I'm excited, Mommy. This is the first time you've mentioned seeing my daddy," Eve said with a happy face.
Yve looked at her daughter and couldn't deny the fact that her daughter needed her actual father, not just a father figure like her sister. She leaned in and kissed Eve's forehead.
"Good night, baby," Yve said.
"Good night, Mommy. I'm excited for tomorrow," Eve replied, and after a minute passed, they both drifted to sleep.
Meanwhile
The grand wedding reception is in full swing, with guests mingling and enjoying the lavish affair. Chole Vergara, a charismatic millionaire, stands amidst the crowd, her eyes scanning the room. Suddenly, a familiar captivating woman caught her attention, and she went to approach her. However, when the woman looked at her, she immediately removed her hand, thinking it was the woman she had been waiting for so long now.
As the wedding ended, she went outside the reception and took a deep breath to calm down and think for a minute. It had been three years. At wala paring paramdam si Yve sa kanya.
SHe then grabbed her phone from her pocket and dialed her friend Gian.

Chole: Any updates?
Gian: I'm sorry, bro, but there's still nothing. I'm really sorry.
Chole: No, no, it's fine.
She then turn it off and went to her car. Sa nararanasan ngayon ni Chole na realize niya na walang magagawa ang milyong- milyong pera niya para hanapin ang mag ina niya, talagang mahirap hanapin ang taong nagtatago.
Pag dating nito sa bahay, as usual maliligo ito at iinom pagkatapos syaka ito matutulog. Maraming nagbago pero ang kasanayang ito ay hindi. Limitado narin ang pag uusap nila ni Alya, dahil tanggap na ni Chole na hanggang kaibigan lang talaga sila at si Yve talaga ang laman ng puso niya, subalit ano pa ba ang magagawa ng nararamdaman niya kung wala na ang taong isinisigaw ng puso niya.
The Next Day
After an hour of flight, Yve and her daughter finally reached their destination. Yve couldn't stop laughing as her daughter kept asking questions, some of which were just random and seemed to defy common sense. She knew her daughter was being sarcastic.
They roamed the place, and Yve's eyes caught sight of Manong, her old driver. She grabbed her daughter's hand and went towards them. When Manang and Manong saw Yve, they immediately hugged her, sharing a warm embrace. As they separated from the hug, Manang looked at the small Yve beside her.
"Oh, so you must be Eve," Manang said, but Eve could only nod.
"I'm sorry, Manang, magkaugali po sila," Yve responded.
"At magka mukha din," sagot naman ni Manong.
"Naku, Yve parang walang nakuha sayo itong anak mo, tingnan mo ang mukha, kuhang kuha niya sa isa," Ani naman ni Manang.
"Grabe Manang ha, pero wala tayung magagawa malakas ang isang yun," sagot naman ni Yve dahilan para mapatawa sila.
"Oh, siya at umuwi na tayo, dahil marami akung niluto mga favorite mo yon Ve," Manang said as they went to the car and drove home.
Time Skip
"So this is our house Eve, do you like it," Yve asked her daughter, whose eyes are roaming around.
"It was bigger than compared to our house in State, so I love it," Eve responded.
"You wanna see your room Eve, I designed it with your favorite color, " tanong ni Manang habang nag aayos ng gamit.
"Sorry Manang, but my mommy and I are sharing a room, but I appreciated your effort so thank you," Eve responded not trying to hurt Manang' feeling.
"Okay lang, kapag kaya munang mag isa sa kwarto magagamit mo din yun," Sagot ni manang kay Eve.
"Kumain na muna kayo Ve, at para makapag pahinga na kayo pagkatapos, alam kung pagod kayo sa byahe," dagdag ni Manang, kaya pumunta sila ng dining room at sabay- sabay na ding kumain.
