~Act 6: Newts POV~

"You know what Vivian? We're done!" Minho says," you can go be with gally how ever much you want."

"Trust me I will! I only dated you to help me get over Gally and it clearly didn't because you a terrible kisser! " Vivian Retaliates," and we're not done until I say we're done so we're done!"
Minho looks slightly hurt and walk off, I could see the tears welling up in his eyes.

"I feed so bad for him but then Vivi's my best friend so I guess I'm on her side for this one." Aurora says from beside me.

"Yeah I know, I should probably go talk to him," I say but them thomas walks over to comfort him," on second thoughts, I think thomas has it all handled."

She looks up at me and grins.
I love it when she looks at me like that.
I wrap my arm over her shoulder and we get back to work.

"Hey Vivian how are you?" Aurora asks hugging her tightly.

"I'm sorry about you and Minho," I say, not really knowing what im supposed to say, " but you and gally are good together I guess."

"Thanks i guess." she replies almost sarcastically and walks off.

"W-what did I do?" I ask Aurora.

"You said 'I guess'." she replies.

"And.."

"Right, so if you say I guess it basically means you don't mean it."

"That's ridiculous."

"I guess it is." she says and gets back to work.

"Wait do you mean that?" I ask.

"Yeah I guess doesn't always mean you Don mean something."

"That's so confusing." I say and she chuckes.

We're taking out all the weeds in the vegetable patch so they grow better. It's quite boring being a track-hoe so I don't know why Aurora Chose it.

Later that day I see Minho and thomas talking about something serious.
I decided to walk up to them.

"Hey guys what's up?" I say, " and sorry Minho about v-"

"It's okay Newt, it ain't your fault." he cuts me off.

"We think we've found a way out of the maze." thomas says.

"No way. Really?" I reply bewildered.

"Yeah we're just finishing off the final details, we'll get back to you when we're done." Minho says.

I walk off to talk to Alby about the good news but I can't find him. I see Aurora standing right in front of the maze, staring out into the distance.

"You alright love?" I ask.

"Vivian." is all she says.

"What about her." I ask again.

"She- she ran into the maze." Aurora said. I was lost for words.

"She what?" I say.

"It's all my fault. She wants to get stung so she might be able to see something like who the immunes are."

"Have you seen Alby maybe we should tell him-" i was cut off by her pointing her finger into the maze.

So he went with Vivian.

"They'll be okay and since alby's not here I'll have to be in charge for a bit."
"Yup because your second in command." she says mockingly.

"Yeah but that means I can boss you around." I say.

"I'd listen to you anyway mate." she laughs.

"Mate? Seriously that's the best you could come up with? You can't call me mate." I say.

"Why not?" she says smiling innocently.

"Because I'm you boyfriend. " I say.

"Well seeing as you don't like it I guess I'll have to call you that from now on." she grins and boops me on the nose.
I grab her by the waist and kiss her she grins and kisses me back.

"I love you." I mutter.

"I love you more," she says, " mate." then she hurts out laughing for some reason. Her laugh is so addictive it made me laugh.

"What's so funny?" I ask.

"I dont know to be honest." she says.
She grins and hugs me.

"You okay?" I ask.

"I'm worried about Vivian." she says, " she's my best friend and I couldn't bear lose her. I just can't."

"I know what you mean." I say looking down at her.

I couldn't bear to loose you.
She looks up at me with watery eyes and smiles weakly.

we stood waiting for Vivian and Alby to come back when we hear Gally shout,

"Look it's Alby. He's carrying Vivian."
We look towards the maze and there he is running back to the Glade.

"They ain't gonna make it." someone says and I felt Aurora take a sharp intake of breath.

"They will make it." I whisper to her.

That's when I saw it. The griever. It was catching up the Alby and Vivian.
Gally runs into the maze to try and help them.
He's always gotta be the hero doesn't he?

When he gets to them he takes Vivian from Alby and runs back to us.

"Aurora, Newt get the medjacks. She's been stung." gally says handing us vivians limp body and then goes back to help Alby.

Minho is watching the scene unfold and doesn't try and help even though he's the fastest runner.

Aurora helps carry Vivian's body to the med-hut and then comes back.

"She'll be okay. They gave her the serum thing and she'll wake up in a bit." she says.

"I thought you woke up instantly?" I say.

"I don't know, it's different maybe." she says.

I look out towards the maze and see gally and Alby running out with grievers behind them. Gally was ahead of Alby and made it back but Alby was loosing breath and it was gaining on him.
It caught him up and stung him and then the doors and we had to imagine the rest. I could hear them fighting over his body. It was horrible. I can feel my eyes water and but I could not bring myself to cry infront of Aurora.

"Newt." she says, " I'm so sorry, I know how much he meant to you." she looks up at me. I feel a tear drop from my eye and she wipes it away and hugs me tightly.

We're in the med-hut waiting for vivian to wake up an after about five to ten minutes her eyelips flutter open and she gasps.

"Vivian?" Aurora says nervously.
"Are-are you okay? Did you see something."

"Not much more than you." she replies.
"Where's Gally, I need to tell him something."

"I'm here V."

"Woah Vivian after me saving you all you care about is Gally." Aurora says sarcastically and Vivian chuckles.
"Good one Rory."

Vivian asks for some privacy while talking to Gally and we all file out.

I go walk back to my hut to get some sleep, it's quite late now after waiting for Vivian to wake up.
Aurora is not far behind me and lets out a sigh.

"You okay love?" I ask.
"Yeah im fine, I'm just tired." she replies.
"But it's really me who should be asking you I mean you just lost Alby and he was your friend and-"
"It's okay and I'm fine you don't need to worry." I cut her off.
"I'll always worry about you Newt. I love you." she says yawning.

I open the door to let her in the hut and she goes and lies down on my bed.
"Goodnight." she mumbles before swiftly drifting off to sleep.
"Goodnight love." I say laying down next to her, putting my arm around her and going to sleep.
