Spanish Waters No POV

A fishing ship was doing some late night fishing as a net was risen from the water and there seems to be a man inside.

Sailor: Capitan! Capitan!

The net was released on the ship as it looked like the man was dead as they did the cross on themselves. They turned the man over as he was holding something.

Captain; who are you?

The captain went to grab what was in his hand as the old man woke up.

The captain and his sailor took the old man to the royal Palace in Cádiz, Spain. They brought the old man in a tarp as King Ferdinand went out to greet them. The men laid the old man and uncovered him as they kneeled.

Ferdinand: what is this?

Captain: your majesty, caught him up in a fishing net.

Sailor: sire, he's been telling stories. Stories that...

Captain: we believe he's found a...

Ferdinand held his hand up as the two went silent as he grabs the small book from the old man.

Old Man: Ponce de Leon.

Captain: says he found Ponce de Leon's ship.

Sailor: or sailed on it.

Captain: no, I told you, Ponce de Leon died 200 years ago.

Sailor: aye, but he died searching for something, didn't he?

Ferdinand: <looks through the pages> The Fountain of Youth. <looks at the Spaniard> how soon can you sail?

Spaniard: with the tide.

London, England

There was an announcement for a pirate's execution as a man was selling pirate dolls that swung by their necks on sticks as many kids wanted one, there was even a girl urging her father to hurry up to see the hanging.

Girl; hurry, Papa, or we'll miss the hanging!

Father: it's not a hanging, dear, it's a trial. The hanging comes this afternoon.

Inside

A man opened a cell where a man had a bag over his head.

Man; come on. Up you get. Move along, pirate. <pushes him> or should I say, "Captain Pirate?" <laughs> come on. Come on! Up you go.

The man was taken to stand on trial as it seemed many wanted this man dead just for being a pirate.

Speaker: now appearing before the court, the notorious and infamous pirate, pillager, and highwayman... Captain Jack Sparrow!

The bag was removed as it wasn't Jack, it was actually Gibbs who was standing on trial.

Gibbs: I told you, the name's Gibbs! Joshamee Gibbs! How many times...

Speaker: hear ye, hear ye! Presiding over these trials, all rise and attend, the Right Honorable Justice Smith!

The judge came in as the ones in wig bowed to him as a man gave the speaker a roll of money that he pocket. The judge sat down as everyone else did as in close inspection, the judge seemed... familiar.

Jack: now... what do we have here?

Gibbs: Jack? <gets hit as the crowd cheered>

Jack; not necessary. You were saying?

Gibbs: Jack Sparrow is not my name. My name is Joshamee Gibbs.

Jack: is that so? It says Jack Sparrow here.
