Escape Pelegosto Island

Sea No POV

Pintel and Ragetti, the duo of pirates that were part of Barbossa's Crew, were on a lonely boat rowing with basically no destination. Pintel was the one rowing while Ragetti was "reading" the Bible.

Ragetti: I say it was Divine Providence what escaped us from jail.

Pintel: and I say it was me being clever. Ain't that right, poochie?

The dog that had the keys in Port Royal was with them basically solving the mystery on where the dog with the keys was. And it still had the keys in its mouth.

Ragetti: how'd you know it weren't Divine Providence what inspired you to be clever? Anyways, I ain't stealing no ship.

Pintel: it ain't stealing. It's salvaging. And since when did you care?

Ragetti: since we're not immortal no more. We gotta take care of our immortal souls.

Pintel; you know you can't read.

Ragetti; it's the Bible. You get credit for trying.

Pintel: pretending to read the Bible's a lie. That's a mark against... <points up>

Before they could argue, the dog started barking and looked over as they were near Pelegosto Island and they saw the Black Pearl on the beach.

Pintel: look. There it is.

The dog jumped off the boat and swam towards the beach.

Ragetti; what's got into him?

Pintel: must have seen a catfish.

They both started laughing.

Ragetti; stupid mongrel!

The dog reached the beach as it shook off to dry off as the reason it jumped off the boat was because a big tide was heading towards them and it threw Pintel and Ragetti off the boat. They still arrived at the beach.

Pintel: come on! <cackles> it's ours for the taking.

Ragetti: Tide's coming in. That should help. And salvaging is saving, in a manner of speaking.

Pintel: there's the truth of it!

They kept laughing until they heard drumming in the distance. It was very intimidating.

Ragetti: supposed we better save it as soon as we can, what with our souls in such vulnerable state and all.

Pintel:<does the cross on himself> amen to that.

Ragetti started climbing up the rope as Pintel started to undo the ropes holding the ship in place.

Pelegosto Tribe

The ceremony was on its way as two female tribe members went to Jack and put a necklace of human toes around his neck.

Jack: thank you.

Jack inspected one of the toes as he bit an uneven nail and spit it out as he looked at Wade and Wade was giving him a disgusted look as he shook his head.

Elsewhere

Will and Anamaria were placed in the hanging cage with Gibbs, Marty, Cotton and some other pirate.

Will: why would he do this to us? If Jack is the chief...

Gibbs: aye, the Pelegostos made Jack their chief, but he only remains chief as long as he acts like a chief.

Will: so he had no choice. He's a captive as much as the rest of us.

Gibbs: worse, as it turns out. See, the Pelegostos believe that Jack is a god in human form, and they intend to do him the honor of releasing him from his fleshy prison.
