Arrests Made in Assault of Son of Fall Out Boy Member.
LOS ANGELES - Three men have been apprehended in the brutal assault of the 16-year-old son of Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz on Sunday night.
One teen, 16-year-old Justin Ambrose, of Santa Monica, turned himself in to LAPD on Monday in the aftermath of the assault. The young Mr. Ambrose identified three other assailants.
All three were apprehended Tuesday morning. They are Francisco Perez, 18; Carlos Perez, 19 and Azriel Denuda, also 19, all of Santa Monica.
Sources reported at the time that the teen had been in Santa Monica with friends. He was later found at the foot of the Wentz family's Beverley Hills home, allegedly brutally beaten.
Since Sunday, the teen, Jaime Clarke, has reportedly been in hospital and is said to be in a coma.
Jaime is the son of Fall Out Boy's guitarist and lyricist, Pete Wentz, and a former girlfriend of Wentz. The teen and the rocker learned only last year that they were related when the teen's mother died of cancer, leaving the teen in the care of his estranged father. Wentz and his family took the boy in where, sources close to the family said he had begun thriving following a battle with a similar cancer to the one that took the teen's mother. The source reports that, though the family had a bit of a rough start initially, with the teen mourning his mother and learning his father's identity, the family is close and Jaime was finally settled into his new life.
Jaime Clarke was born and raised in Santa Monica, the son of the late Tanya Clarke, a paralegal with the law firm Dewey, Henderson and Chase. Jaime was, reportedly, visiting with some friends from his old neighborhood when his beaten body was dumped at the Wentz home.
Since Sunday, the elder Wentz has been by his son's side, and hasn't been seen outside the hospital. Sources state that Jaime's condition is still listed as critical.
Reportedly, the teen has sustained several broken bones, a head injury and severe internal injuries. He has already had three surgeries in an effort to save his life and assist with recovery. Jaime has not regained consciousness as of publication.
The four youths involved in the assault are currently being held prior to a bail hearing. They are all charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit assault, accessory to assault among other charges. 16-year-old Justin Ambrose is being held on lesser charges of conspiracy to commit assault and accessory. His charges are thought to be less severe owing to the fact that he admitted to being present and that he had tried to stop the older three from carrying out the assault, and due to his young age.
A spokesperson for the Wentz family states that the family is focussing on Jaime's recovery and have no comments with regard to the accused or the charges.
"Pete and his family are asking for space and compassion while they learn the full extent of Jaime's injuries and his prognosis for recovery. They thank Fall Out Boy's fans and other well wishers for all the support they have received up to now, and ask for privacy while they navigate this situation.

"Jaime?" I looked up.
"Mom?" I said, seeing her again was surreal. "What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing. Why are you here now, Jaime?" She looked sad and scared. I hated making her upset.
"I-I don't know. I'm not sure. I went to see Frank and Justin and now I'm here with Jon," I pointed to the man in white beside me.
"Not you," she breathed at him. He shrugged.
"I am not entirely sure what my role here is, if I am honest. Which I always am," he said.
"Why are you here, though?" Mom said to Jon. "You're only supposed to be here when it's their choice."
"I am aware of that," Jon said. "As I said, I am not aware of what my role here is supposed to be at this time."
Mom frowned at Jon and I looked between the two of them.
"Something's wrong," Mom said. "Jaime, what happened when you went to see Frank and Justin?"
"I don't really remember," I frowned. "We had some food, then we went for a walk. Then I was here."
"I have not been given any information beyond what your child has told me. And I do not believe he has much more information as it is."
"Jaime, you can't be here. Not now," Mom said. "You have to send him back."
She was addressing Jon at this point.
"That is not entirely within my control," Jon said.
"It is and you know you can! Send him back! He's only 16!"
"I am aware of his age. I do have that information as well. You are aware of that," Jon said to Mom.
"He can't be here. He has things to do with his life. I was promised he would have a long life."
"I do not have that much control," Jon said. "What the humans do in their realm is not in my control."
"You can send him back though!" Mom argued.
"I can. But I do not think it would be prudent at this time. He has sustained some very severe injuries. Sending him back now would not be pleasant," Jon said.
"I want to go back!" I said. "If I'm here, I'm dying. I don't want to die! I said that last time!"
"Are you certain? I cannot control what happens to you there," Jon said to me.
"Please! I miss my sister, my brothers, my dad. And my other mom!"
"If you are certain, please do not say I did not warn you. The body you are returning to is broken. I cannot control your experience."
"Please," I wept. "Please."
"As you wish," Jon said.
I closed my eyes.
I could hear beeping. I could hear whooshing sounds. I could hear alarms going off.
"Jaime! Jaime!" I heard someone shouting my name.
