Murtasim watched Meerab with a growing concern in his eyes, noting the weariness that lay heavy on her shoulders. The recent confrontations, reclaiming her rightful place at the office, and dealing with the manipulative schemes of Zaheer had taken a toll on her.
"You need to rest, Meerab,"
he said firmly.
Meerab shook her head.
"I'm fine".
But Murtasim's gaze softened, his tone unwavering.
"you are not well yet. Please, take some time to recover."
Meerab looked into his eyes, seeing both his worry and his determination. After a pause, she finally sighed.
"Alright, fine."
Relieved, Murtasim arranged for his best friend Farjad to take her to his house so she could find some peace. When Farjad arrived, Murtasim introduced him to Meerab.
"Meerab, this is Farjad."
Farjad extended a polite smile.
"Assalamualaikum ,It's an honor to meet you, Meerab."
" Walekum assalam".
Meerab replied.
He opened the passenger door for Meerab, who offered Murtasim a parting glance before stepping inside. As she settled in.
As they left, Murtasim watched the car drive away.

Meanwhile, Anwar had reached the Shah house, his face etched with a weariness that spoke of countless sleepless nights. He addressed Jahara and Zaheer with a tone of resignation."I'm giving up the search for my daughter. I believe what you told me,"
he said, his voice wavering.
"I'll be returning to Turkey."
Jahara and Zaheer exchanged a look, relief flickering in their eyes as Anwar took his leave

.In the car, an uneasy silence stretched between Farjad and Meerab. The hum of the engine filled the quiet space, but there was an unspoken tension, as if each was waiting for the other to speak. Meerab stared out the window
Farjad glanced sideways at her, clearing his throat.
"Umm... there's something I need to say before we reach home"
he began, his tone hesitant.
Meerab turned to look at him, her expression questioning yet patient.
"My mother doesn't know about your... contract marriage,"
he explained, choosing his words carefully.
"I told her the same story that Murtasim told your family. So... if you don't mind, can I call you bhabhi in front of her?"
Meerab nodded, understanding.
"I don't mind,"
she replied softly, appreciating the consideration in his tone.
He smiled briefly, relieved, and focused back on the road.
"Thank you,"
he murmured.
They continued driving in silence, but after a few moments, Farjad broke it and tried to lighten the mood.
"So... you know I'm Murtasim's best friend,"
