The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room. The peaceful silence was broken by the sound of a baby’s giggles. Murtasim sat on the bed, his heart swelling with love, as he watched Meerab cradle their little bundle of joy, Meesam, in her arms.
“She looks just like you, Meerab,”
Murtasim said softly, his eyes filled with admiration.
Meerab smiled, her heart melting at his words. She looked down at Meesam, her tiny hands reaching up to touch her face.
“No, Murtasim. She’s all you. Look at her eyes. They’re exactly like yours,”
she teased, her voice full of warmth and affection.
Murtasim leaned over and kissed her forehead, his thumb gently brushing Meesam’s tiny fingers.
“You know, I think she has your smile,”
he whispered, his voice full of tenderness.
“She’s perfect, just like her mother.”
Meerab chuckled softly, her eyes sparkling with love.
“And just like her father, she’ll be strong, smart, and a little bit stubborn.”
Murtasim raised an eyebrow
and grinned playfully.
“Stubborn? I don’t know what you’re talking about. She’s clearly taking after you.”
Meerab laughed, the sound like music to his ears. Her laughter always had a way of making everything feel right, like the world had paused just for them.
“Oh, really?”
she said with a teasing glint in her eyes.
“If she’s anything like me, then we’re both in trouble.”
“I think I’ll survive,”
Murtasim said, his voice full of warmth as he leaned in to kiss Meesam’s tiny cheek.
“Because I have both of you now. And that’s all I need.”
Meerab's heart fluttered at his words, and she glanced at him, her eyes softening.
“I love you, Murtasim. I love both of you. You’re everything I’ve ever dreamed of.”
Murtasim smiled, pulling her closer, his arm around her and Meesam.
“And you, Meerab, are my dream come true.”
As they sat there, lost in the simple joy of being together, the little girl in their arms let out a contented sigh, her small fingers curling around her parents’ hands.
“She’s going to grow up to be strong, just like you,”
Meerab whispered, her voice full of hope and love.
Murtasim’s eyes sparkled as he kissed Meesam’s forehead once more.
“And she’ll have the kindest heart, just like her mother.”
Together, they watched their daughter sleep peacefully, knowing that this was their forever. In each other’s arms, in the warmth of their little family, they had found the greatest joy of all. A love that had once been uncertain was now a bond stronger than anything they had ever imagined.
And as the days passed, they knew one thing for sure no matter what came their way, they would face it together, as a family, with hearts full of love and laughter.
A short epilogue hope you like it .
