I brought the saddle in today, and had to sneak it since there were some people casually moving around the place, sponsors, ACU, builders and any other workers taking a look.

Berilo and Kori swam up from the water very gracefully. It was almost hard to imagine they ever were clumsy in the water, now they were in their element whenever they were submerged.

The saddle was made like a horse saddle but the seat was flat and there was a bar about a rule length covered in a foamish material so it was easy to hold on to. The girth was pretty big and dragged on the ground as I carried it.

"Bear!" I called happily as he came running out to me.

I stepped out of the way because I knew if he slammed into me I'd break something for sure.

I put the saddle down and hugged his face as he pushed his nose into my chest.

Kori came around, gently nudging my side and I gave his nose a rub and he seemed happy with the attention I was giving him.

When they had stepped back and were now sniffing at the saddle I got a bit excited. But now I had to figure out how to get that up on a 5 metre tall dinosaur.

I thought for a moment before I sat down. Berilo and Kori getting the idea and they lay down by me, Berilo resting his head on my lap. I gave him some pats and same with Kori before I pushed Berilo's head off my lap.

He let out a groan of surprise and annoyance and I lifted up the saddle.

Kori and Berilo went silent so I moved over to Berilo's neck and placed the saddle on it. Berilo moved like he was trying to get up and I stepped back. "Hold on!"

He froze so I stepped forward and did up the girth, it was a bit big for him but that didn't matter because he needed some growing room.

Kori seemed to understand what I had done. Smart boy. His head tilting from side to side and his nostrils flaring.

I pulled myself up onto Berilos' back, he stood up before I could get fully comfortable so I held on tight to the bar.

"Whoa..." I breathed.

Like the first time you sit on a horse it was pretty daunting, only this was the second time I was sitting on Berilo and the feeling of pure wonder and excitement clouded by fear was hanging in my thinking.

"Good boy," I gave him a pat and he let out a chitter.

All I had to do was hold onto the bar and I'd be safe... unless something plucked me off his back.

Kori was looking at me and I moved a hand off the bar and have him a pat between the nostrils.

Kori seemed to look at me amused before he turned to Berilo and chittered lowly. Then they both turned to the water.

Oh no...

I couldn't jump off, I'd hurt myself, I was stuck.

Berilo waded in the water and then dover down. I leaned down in the saddle, keeping close to the bar, holding my breath and closing my eyes.

The cold water sending goosebumps all over my skin and my hair going back flowing through the water which actually felt nice. It wasn't long before my lungs started to hurt, I needed air.

I let go of the bar and kicked my feet swimming upwards. When I surfaced I opened my eyes and looked around. I was at the deepest part of the pool. Oh no...

My fear spiked in me so deep and I let out a scream, tears running down my cheeks. I couldn't see the bottom. It was so deep. The blue water was so deep, anything could be under it.

I felt something scaley brush against my foot and I began swimming towards the shore as fast as I could, which wasn't very fast since I was doing doggy-paddle because I never had many swimming lessons.

"Oh no... oh no..." I breathed heavily.

My heart racing so face it hurt.

I felt something big lift me out of the water and I suddenly realised Kori had lifted me out of the water on his snout and I was face to face with him.

I was so relieved I wasn't in the water anymore and hugged his snout tightly and he let out a purr and swam back to shore. Berilo followed close behind.

I was so glad I was finally back on land.

Kori and Berilo lay on either side of me, they were big boys for sure. Sometimes I even felt like I was holding them back. They loved swimming and yet I couldn't do it with them.

I knew I had to get over my fear soon if I wanted to spend more bonding time with them.

When I had rested and my heartrate had calmed down I stood up, causing both my boys to lift their heads and look at me curiously.

I moved over to Berilo and slid my hands down his scales and undid the girth. The saddle slid off easily and was only a little damp. I moved it away from Berilo and set it on the ground.

I wished there was a way for me to keep it dry all the time, like how Berilo and Kori never got soaking even if they had just been in the water.

I put the saddle away in the small door, Kori and Berilo had followed me while I walked there. It was nice knowing they'd still follow me. Even if I wasn't in control and they could easily kill me they still respected me.

After I had put the saddle away, I gave my boys some pats and scratches and then left.
