I thought for a second as I put all my weapons back in the emergency box. By the way the park seemed to be handling this, I'd be stuck here, forever.

Berilo and Kori wouldn't survive too long in their small enclosure where they relied on humans for food.

I knew what I had to do, I walked into the enclosure and was met by their gentle nuzzles and purrs.

"Oh, my big boys..." I cooed and hugged onto Berilos snout.

I moved to his neck and undid the girth, the saddle slid off him and I went to put it back where I usually kept it but Kori blocked my exit. "I'm sorry..." I dropped the saddle and he lowered his head for me to hug his snout.

He then moved out of the way and I put the saddle inside.

I walked up the stairs and looked around until I found the button that said 'open gate'. I didn't bother trying to open the glass lid. I slammed my fist down on it repeatedly until it cracked.

I then pressed the button and I saw the big gate opening. No turning back.

I walked outside and saw Berilo and Kori looking around cautiously. When they saw me though, they ran to me looking for guidance.

Tears filled my eyes but I couldn't feel any regret or doubt, "go." Kori let out a rumbling purr and he seemed to understand.

He rumbled to Berilo and Berilo laid down looking at me pleadingly and very sadly. "Bear..." I murmured and whimpered at the same time and held onto his snout as if that would end everything right now.

As if it would take away my pain and lead me to eternal darkness where I had finally finished what I was meant to do. It hurt more when Kori nudged his head into my back so he could be included.

The moment I had been waiting for never arrived.

I let go of Berilos snout and hugged Kori, giving him a chin scratch and with my other hand rubbing between Berilos nostrils.

They loved deep water, I feared it. Most people feared them, but I didn't. I loved them as if they were my own children and in a way, they were.

"I'll never ever forget you," I promised them.

Berilo let out a purr and Kori followed with a big purr, I thought this would be the last time my body hurt from their purrs. I let tears fall down my cheeks.

"Goodbye..." I let out a shaky breath. Night time was rolling in and I didn't know when the last ship was leaving.

I walked away from them and they watched as I got in my ute and drove away. It took 30 minutes for me to get back to the main place and by that time it was 10:00.

I got back to my apartment and lay on my bed, announcements rang out on the speakers. "Second last ferry leaving now."

I got up from my bed and got down stairs, as I walked down mainstreet I was surprised when I saw no one was around.

Glass had been shattered and the place looked pretty destroyed, I wondered what had happened. I walked up to the giant pyramid dome thing thinking people might be inside. As soon as I got in I saw Owen, Claire and two boys running towards me and a velociraptor behind them.

I let out a gasp and ran with them. We stopped as 3 raptors circled us and I stood next to Claire behind Owen.

"See, I told you you weren't the alpha," I hissed at him and he clenched his jaw and began cooing to Blue as he reached his hand out. Blue softly purred as he undid a camera strapped to the side of her head.

He pulled it off and dropped it.

Then, the big white dinosaur walked down the street, the earth shaking as it took big steps and then it let out a roar at the raptors.

Blue roared back and stepped forward about to run but the white dinosaur slashed a clawed hand at her and she went flying into a wall and went unconscious.

The other two raptors roared and ran to the white dinosaur, jumping onto its back and sinking their claws and teeth into its back and neck.

Owen made us follow him behind an amber statue and into a place filled with stuffed animals. Claire and I sat on either side of the boys as Claire introduced the boys to me as Zack and Gray.

"We need more teeth," Gray murmured breathlessly.

"What?" Claire looks at him.

"More teeth," Gray looks up at him, more sure of himself and Claire stands up, grabs a flare gun from an emergency box and runs off telling us to stay here.

I thought about going to find Berilo and Kori but figured that would take too long to do. I'd have to hope Claire, who was looking dirtier and sweatier than when I had first seen her, had a good plan.

The big white dinosaur threw the raptors off of it and then Owen jumped into our hiding spot.

A finger to his lips for us to stay silent but the dinosaur lowered down to our height and saw inside. Since its head was too big to fit inside it pushed a claw in through the wall and attempted to pull us out.

Its claw latched onto Grays fanny-pack and we held him back though we were all failing in strength.

Suddenly it stopped and looked up. Claire was running from the T-rex.

She threw the flair she was holding at the white rex dinosaur and it roared at the T-rex in a somewhat similar roar to the T-rex. The t-rex broke through the giant skeleton of a dinosaur on display and roared more threateningly in return.

They both started roaring at each other, moving away from the buildings as they sort of circled each other.

Claire had fallen over and was now laying just behind the t-rexes' massive foot.

Then Rexy ran forward, the white dinosaur letting her attack it. That was weird. After a few bites from the rex the white dinosaur moved so that she was scratching rexy's main weapon, her jaws.

Then when the rex tried to let out a roar the white dinosaur clamped her mouth shut and shoved her to the ground.

The t-rex had lost.

Claire tried scrambling away from the fight but was too weak and tired to do so and kept crawling away from the dinosaurs as the white dinosaur slammed the rex into the wall of the toy shop where me, Owen, Zac and Gray were.

We ran back and looked at Claire who could only scream "RUN!" in terror.

We ran out of our hiding place as the white dinosaur slammed the rex into the ground, breaking some of the concrete ground and the rex could only let out a weak roar.

The white dinosaur was about to finish the rex off when Berilo slammed his full weight into the white dinosaur.

"BEAR!" I could only scream in joy.

Berilo looked over at me, distracted and the white dinosaur ran at him, biting down on his neck but Kori came in, lowering himself so he slammed up at the white dinosaur.

I jabbed Owen in the ribs with my elbows. "My dinosaurs are bigger than yours!"

He only smiled in amusement as he watched the battle.

Kori chittered to Berilo as they fought and they both seemed to purr in delight at their plan and then began shoving and biting the white dinosaur towards the mosasaurus lagoon.

"Smart boys," I murmured.

With one final push, the fencing gave way and the white dinosaur fell into the water. The mosasaurus tail appearing at the surface before disappearing.
