Chapter 18: God

Chapter 18: Lion's Den

Solgaleo: Impressive.

Ash: Solgaleo, God of Light and Ultra Space. Guardian of Ahola. So why are you in Kalos? 

Solgaleo: To kill you, 009. You're getting stronger and getting closer to the truth. As the God of Light, I cannot allow such darkness to exist.  

Ash: Yeah? But you misunderstand something.

Solgaleo: What's the boy?

Ash: My name is Ash.  So, stop calling me 009 you bastard!

Ash threw his dagger at Solgaleo, but instead of its normal blade, it looked to be imbued with dark energy. It hit Solgaleo in the leg, making it roar in pain. Ash ran over to the lion, his body glowing black.  

Ash appeared right under Solgaleo, uppercutting it into the sky.  He appeared again, slamming the God into the ground.  Solgaleo growled low, shooting a hyper beam.  Ash dispersed the beam with ease, the energy exploding around him.   

Ash laughed, looking at his smoking hand. As he looked, Solgaleo shot a pure beam of light, piercing through Ash's left hand.  He looked at it, and the skin that was gone was refilled in.  He grinned at Solgaleo, making the legendary flinch back.   Ash's eyes flashed purple, glaring at the God of Light with righteous anger. 

Ash: I don't know why you're pissed at me, and I don't care! Time for you to DIE! Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill. Survive.

He jumped over the lion with ease, punching it in the back, his fist glowing with pure dark energy. At this point in the journey, Ash had a decent amount of control of his powers. He shot a dark beam at the creature's head, but it was destroyed by light.  

Solgaleo bit Ash's arm, ripping it apart.  It grew back, making the boy grin once again. Ash pushed the God back with dark energy. He picked up a rock, infusing it with pure dark energy.  He threw it at the lion, but it dodged.  The rock went through 400 trees, and the mountain in the back collapsed.   Solgaleo looked scared out of its mind, looking at Ash with fear. 

Ash: (whistles) Holy shit, that was awesome!  Next time, (eyes harden) I'll hit you in the brain. 

Solgaleo:  BURN IN HELL!

Solgaleo flew up, launching a light beam at the trainer. Ash made a sphere of darkness around the light, destroying it. The creature of light used Sunsteel Strike, charging at Ash. The trainer put his hand in front of his face, concentrating.

The Dark Champion wrapped Solgaleo in a sphere of darkness. The lion broke it, shooting light in all directions. He landed on the ground, using Steel Beam. Ash tried to break it, but it didn't work, and he was hit in the chest.

Ash skidded for a moment, using darkness to stop his fall.  Ash made a dark flame, and it was purple in the middle.  He shot it out in a wave.  Everything was on fire, purple fire englufing everything in its path.  Solgaleo growled low, looking at the flames angrily. 

Ash:  Aw, pussycat not like my fire? 

Solgaleo roared, using Take down.  Ash shot out his fire in an explosion, burning everything, including the God. Solgaleo jumped back, burn marks all over his body.  The God used Solar Beam, using the excess fire power to hit Ash. 

He got sent 200 meters into the forest, right into a lake. He rose up from the lake, dripping water. A water tornado was under him, but it also had dark lines. That was how he was controlling the water, not the water directly, but the darkness in the water.

He raised his hand up, and his dagger returned to his hand. He got in a fighting position. Solgaleo growled low, currently pissed off.   Ash gave him a look, making the legendary stop.
