"Take the next left"

"Kay"

The conversation between us was very brief ever since we took off from LA due to a mini argument we had before taking off. So now it's all a bit awkward but I forgot about that as I took a trip down memory lane, literally.

We drove up the lane separating the two fields you could call driveway, leading up to the my childhood house. Or where we got married, sort of; where the party was held.

"Baby?"

"Yes?" I looked away from the window to him.

"I don't want us to kick off this weekend pissed at each other, so I'm sorry" he said, parking amongst the other cars already here.

"I know, I'm sorry too" I reached over, looping my arms around him. "Love you"

"I love you too" he left a kiss on my forehead. "Let's get out!"

In the next 15 minutes, we took the bags out of the car, greeted everybody, dished on how we were (my grandparents want to know everything) and how we're coping after Aria.

In all honesty, I feel better but kind of hollow, and it's so difficult to properly describe it.

"Hi crazy!" Emily ran over to me, squeezing me into another hug. "How is married life?"

"It's lovely. It's like living with your best friend everyday"

"Aww babe" Ross appeared around the corner and as fast as he came, he was gone again. Emily laughed.

"I think he's not used to fresh air"

"In other words," I smiled. "But hey, what about you, hehe?"

"Hehe? More like no-no" she rolled her eyes, making me giggle. "Nobody, NOBODY!"

"How old are you?"

"26"

Rocky walked past, bang on time. I grabbed his bicep, pulling him back. "Hi dude, this is my cousin Emily, I don't think you've met"

"Hi" he shook her little hand, and she returned the favour.

"Rocky's a basketball enthusiast also"

"What?" She screamed. "Knicks?"

"Lakers!"

"Nasty!" exclaimed Emily who then giggled. Smoothly, I removed myself from the conversation seen as the only sport I do is running to the microwave when my food is finished.

"Hello" I felt kisses on my neck, waking me up from the light nap I had fallen into. Lazily, I reached back and touched my husband's hair. "Are you alright? You've been asleep for 3 hours"

"It was only 20 minutes, and I wasn't properly asleep"

"You were snoring, love"

I laughed, "Okay, maybe. But what about you?"

"Catching up with my brothers, speaking to everybody, took Lilly and your parent's dogs for a walk, whatever" Ross shrugged. "More like they took me for a walk but you know?"

"Is that why your hair is damp?"

"No I took a shower because I came back covered in mud" he laughed. "But how are you, cutie?"

"I'm okay now" I sat up, removing the leather jacket I decided to sleep in. Following so, I sat beside Ross. "It's nice to be back, and we have my mom's old room"

"I like it; all the kids got the master bedroom, but hey, we could make do" slowly but surely, he pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him. "And you know, we haven't exactly had alone time in a while"

"What time is it?"

"Coming up to 7"

"Hmm" I pecked his lips. "We have time"

He gave me that sexy smirk of his. "Yay"

Without giving me much time to breathe, his lips pressed against mine and his hands were steady on my waist to pull me closer & add intimacy to the kiss.

It was getting heated for sure; my shirt was on the ground, my jeans unbuttoned and my bra seconds from adding to the rest of the clothes on the floor. And to be honest, I probably wanted this as much as he did.

I missed honeymoon-like us.

His lips left mine, trailing to my neck where he hungrily nibbled on a patch of skin and moved on, earning a very suggestive sigh from me. He chuckled. "I missed this, reminds me of how we used to be before we got married"

"What, a constant-" I bit my lip to suppress a moan. "- sexual tension around us"

"Something like that" he whispered in my ear, finally removing my bra. I raced a hand through his hair, overjoyed by the skin on skin contact. Until..

"Charlie babe!" Mom (MOM) knocked on the door. "May I come in?"

"NO!" I screamed. "Kind of undressed"

"Alright. Can you come and help make cakes downstairs?"

"Sure!" I exclaimed, and only relaxed when she walked away. Ross groaned. "I'm sorry, baby"

"It's alright, I don't think I'm the only one excited here" he leaned forward to my ear. "You just wait until I get you tonight"
