—ONE WEEK LATER—

"I missed you so much." My mom hugged me tightly, I laughed, squeezing her with the same amount of strength.

"I missed you too, but I kind of need to breathe." I coughed out, she let go with a wistful sigh.

"So, where's Yaseen? How come he didn't come with you?" She asked.

"He's busy with work. Couldn't get a vacation. I told him I would only be gone for two weeks and he said he thinks it's good i'm reconnecting with my old friends." I explained, she nearly frowned.

"Are you sure you want to marry him...? You know, the other Kaulitz is still single as far as I know—"

"Mom!" I shouted.

"What, i'm just saying. Yaseen is so boring. He loves you, but he's boring. You know what that means? The sex is also boring." She nearly gagged.

Yeah, safe to say i'm not enjoying her being so much more... open now that i'm in my twenties. Jesus, this is the same woman who almost banished me for finding out I was sexually active in the beginning of my senior year. And now she's all sex positive.

"Mom, my fiancée is not boring. And he loves me very much and i'm sure the sex will be just so explosive on our wedding night." I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, but you're an adult now. And I love that you chose someone who's religious and... not to mention Iraqi... but who's to say he's going to make you happy? You were so happy when you were with—"

"You haven't even given him a chance! Every time I bring him up you look the other way. He's the person i'm marrying, so you're just going to have to deal with it." I crossed my arms, she did gag this time.

"The first time I met him, he did not thank me when I put food on his plate and that's all I have to know." My mother excused.

"He was in the bathroom."

"So? Could have thanked me when he came back from doing the peepee."

My eyes widened. "That's not what you think it means... anyway, I have to run. I need to go to Bill's house and catch up with the bride and groom. Then I need to rent a car."

"Rent a car you say?" She nodded, in intrigue. Seriously. Why does this woman always speak in code?

"Yes, is that going to be a problem?"

"No... no problem." She grinned, giving me a kiss on the forehead.
