I went down the stairs, seeing a lady with blonde hair.
"Ramona!" She squealed, I raised my brows, realizing I don't know this woman.
"Hi..?" I gulped.
"Simone." My brother whispered as he walked past me. Oh... it's their mother.
"Oh, hey!" I readjusted, she engulfed me into a death gripping hug,
Well, this is nice.
"Oh, you've gotten so beautiful, we have to save you for Tom one day." She teased, grabbing onto my chin.
Right.
I awkwardly grinned.
"Thank you..?" I tilted my head to the side, unsure of what to really say here.
If she knew my dad would bury me alive if I even tried, she wouldn't be saying this.
She sat me down on the couch beside her, holding onto both of my hands.
"He has a job, y'know? And he's really hardworking."
Is she trying to sell me on her son?
I licked my lips in, unsure of how I really got in this position.
And still, no memory of him.
"Yes, maybe when she's older." My mom laughed along.
"Already turning into a young lady. When I last saw you, you were just a little girl." Simone brushed my hair away from my face, this is just so... interesting.
"His dad is supposed to be driving you home tomorrow from school with Bill." My mom said to me, I... oh.
Fantastic, just lovely.
"I'm sure Ella's mom can give me—"
"Oh nonsense, Jörg would be happy to." Simone cut me off.
Why didn't she bring the boys then?
Her next words were a direct reply to my thoughts. "Tom had work today and Bill is working on school stuff."
I literally came down for water and this is what i've roped myself into.
—
I've been sitting in this living room for three hours now.
Unfortunately, I know more about both boys now than I would have liked to.
