Raelle

Got this pretty, round brown
She whip it right now
I don't know what you 'bout
But we gon' find out

"Nah, I'm beating that nigga ass Rae." Kasim said stoically as he rose from the couch we were seated on making his way to the door of my hotel room.

"Sim waitttt!" I yell as I throw my sketch book that I was sketching in, to the side of me to run after him. I had just told him the full story of why I had been m.i.a for the past week and he was livid, understandably so. I wasn't expecting him to want to go fight the nigga though.

"Nah ain't no wait Raelle! That nigga wildin' for real now!" Sim said attempting to grab the door handle but I yanked him back by the hood of the hoodie he had on.

"Kasim, please don't go over there. I'm okay I promise. I don't want you guys fighting because of me." I pleaded as he turned to face me. Seeing the anguish on my face his expression softened as he dragged his hand down his face.

"Ion know why you still saving this nigga but ima chill." He huffed going to sit back down on the couch as I followed, taking the seat opposite him and making sure to tuck my legs back beneath me like they were before getting up.

"Thank you, Simmy." I sighed picking up my sketchbook and pencil, starting back on the design I was sketching. I had recently gone and bought myself a new book since the old one was still at Dominic's apartment. I needed to figure out what my next moves were and starting an online boutique had been heavy on my mind.

Of course, I would need to do a lot of research on how to start one, but I think it would be good for me to start a business. Since I wasn't working I was always so bored most of the time. My part of the business with Mari only required me to be at the warehouse a few days out of the month, so once I was done I was just sitting around feeling purposeless. Eventually, I want to go back to school and get my Master's but if I'm being honest my heart isn't in psychology right now, so it was time I utilized my minor in fashion.

"Don't thank me yet. Ima chill for now, but ion know how long that's gone last Rae. That nigga need somebody to knock his head between the washer and dryer so he can straighten up." Sim said, making me laugh as I used my pencil to add more details to the layers of the dress I was working on.

The layers were beginning to look like mist as they cascaded down the length of the legs on the model I had drawn on the page. The bottom half of the dress looked like a cream-colored cloud and the top part of the bodice was a grayish purple. I decided to go with a strapless neckline while making the lower half of the bodice asymmetrical.
