And my weight, that's just as heavy as my name So much dough, I can't swear I won't change Excuse me if my wealth got me full of myself Cocky, something that I just can't help
A month had passed since Raelle and I's fight and we hadn't spoken a word to each other since then. I was sleeping in Daniel's room while she remained in the master bedroom. We would walk past each other without even a glance or word of acknowledgment. The silence was deafening but there was nothing left to be said.
She had let me know everything that I needed to know about how she felt about me. She blamed me for the loss of our child and made sure to let me know she never wanted to have one with me anyway. At this point, I didn't even know why we were still together. Clearly, she hated me so why wouldn't she just leave? If I was the cause of so much of her pain why was she still with me?
I didn't even know why I was still here. Maybe it was because it was hard to think of letting her go for good. We had made so many memories together that it felt like a slap in the face to just give up on that, but this was becoming a sick game of who could hurt who the most and I didn't want to play this shit anymore. The way she screamed that she would never want to have a child with me was enough for me to question if she ever really loved me.
Pulling into the warehouse parking lot I could see that her jeep was parked out front making me release a frustrated sigh. The one place that was once just mine was now our place of business. I hated that she was now caught up in this shit. This wasn't her, and I still didn't understand what point she was trying to prove.
Since I had given Mari her first shipment, profit had doubled. She had stayed true to her word and made enough to pay off El Diablo's $2 million deal to get Chris out from under his thumb and my cut for supplying her with product. This next shipment would be double the amount of last time and would consist of weed, coke, and Molly. This would also be Raelle's first time making sure everything was accounted for and packaged properly for shipment.
It was going to be an adjustment seeing her in here walking around with all these niggas eyes on her. I had already given everybody a talk to ensure she was respected at all times. Everybody in here knew that she was mine and that she was off limits. I didn't give a fuck if we had issues or not if one of these mutha fuckas even looked at her two long it would be a bullet between their eyes.
Walking through the front entrance I saw Pat standing off to the side guarding the door making me lift my chin to acknowledge his presence which he returned. I could see Raelle with a clipboard and pen in her hand writing something down on a piece of paper. I decided to hang back and watch her for a bit just to see how she was handling herself. No one knew I was coming up here today so I wanted to make sure she was being treated with respect the same way if I was up here.
