Harry was in his home watching T.V. when through the thin walls he could hear a door shut. He furrowed his eyebrows, because it couldn't have been Melody, it was only 11 p.m. but it sounded as though it was coming from Melody's apartment.
A buzz from his phone distracted him from beginning to ask himself some infamous questions of his. He only checked who the text was from his girlfriend, who Harry was actually planning to break up with.
But to Harry that was one of the hardest things for him to do. His girlfriend, Jen was a huge crier, she almost cried for everything and Harry couldn't handle it knowing he was the one who caused her tears. It wasn't something where he absolutely hated her and needed to get away from her, no. He deeply cared about her... as a friend. So naturally of course, why would he want to waste her time.
As Harry turned his attention back to the T.V. time quickly passed by and it was already two in the morning. Part of Harry was extremely disapointed in himself for not getting extra sleep when he knew very well he had time. But then again, no one was blaming him, there was a channel playing a marathon of Seinfield re-runs. He couldn't miss that.
It was around 2:13 when he heard footsteps in the hallway stopping right in front of his door. That meant it had to be Melody, they were right across the hall from each other after all.
For whatever reason, after fully being confident in knowing Melody was home, he finally let himself go get some sleep.

A blaring alarm forced Harry to wake up, which of course no one liked. Harry swore that everytime he heard his alarm he felt slightly sick. Call him obsessed with sleep but no one can argue.
It only took him around half an hour to get ready and be out of his apartment (including all of the three times he hit the snooze button). So once he was out of his apartment, he was walking to his usual café.
The scent of coffee beans instantly surrounded him, but also quickly dissapeared due to him ajusting to the scent so quickly.
A few of the barista's gave him a warm welcome, as they all very well knew him by now. He smiled and exchanged a 'hello' before walking to his usual seat.
He already saw that Melody was sitting at her usual spot as well. Wihtout any of her friends. It was rather shocking Harry didn't miss her, she was practically always with friends.
Taking advantage of this moment he began to walk over to her. He quietly sat down in front of her, unnoticed due to the fact that she had fallen asleep.
Harry quietly cleared his throat causing her to sit up straight.
"So you're a light sleeper." Harry stated while Melody put her hand on her chest from being startled by him.
"Ugh, Jesus, Harry. Really? Was that even necessary?" Melody complained rubbing her face.
"Well you see if I had let you stay asleep, you most likely would have been late to classes, not that that's new or anything," Harry said, cracking a smile while Melody rolled her eyes. "or even worse, you could have missed the whole class."
"Oh because God forbid I miss one class."
"Knowledge is key, Melody. Knowledge is key." Harry said with a great smile on his face.
This was the first time Melody got to truly see him smile and it was impossible to ignore the very prominent dimples he had. She would never say it out loud but they totally made her heart melt. His smile truly warmed her heart and brought a smile to her face as well.
"So, can I buy you another coffee?" Harry asked, his adorable smile still in his adorable face.
"Nooo, it's my turn to treat you."
"But, Melody." Harry whined like a small child making Melody smile even more.
"No but's, Harry. I'm buying you a coffee."
So Melody ended up buying Harry a coffee, even though Harry tried to deny six more times before accepting, so afterwards they talked more. Melody realised even though she was constantly with multiple people she had never felt so complete with only this one boy sitting in front of her.
