The next morning the two woke up tangled in each others limbs. In Harry's apartment. Melody wasn't really sure when during the night they made their way to his apartment. But how could she possibly complain about ending up in Harry's apartment, in his bed, next to him.
Even though it was only two hours of sleep, Melody had never woken up feeling so refreshed. Totally and completely disappeared under the mess of blankets and pillows on Harry's bed (and him as well of course). His whole body was basically draped over hers, even if she wanted to get up she couldn't.
But thankfully she wanted nothing more than to just melt into his touch and get more sleep. Just because she felt refreshed didn't mean she didn't still want more sleep.
Harry was awake. Melody knew this but she also knew he had no intention of getting up. Or at least not unless she physically pushed him off of her.
"Harry?" She asked, barely able to talk from just waking up.
"Hm." He hummed in response, and even though she's heard his morning voice multiple times before, it just got hotter and hotter every time.
"Can we just lay here forever?" Harry re-positioned himself so he was on his side facing her. She turned her head to look at him and into his eyes. He had a small smile when she looked at him.
"Damn, I wish but I can't risk missing a class." He said smiling, before getting up out of the bed taking Melody's chances of getting more sleep along with him.
Melody looked up at the ceiling as the sound of running water from a sink traveled it's way into his room. A few seconds later he called Melody into the bathroom. She got up and started walking to his small cold bathroom (after grunting of course because she did not want to be awake yet).
Stopping at the doorway and leaning against the frame and looking at him. He was brushing his teeth and despite the foam from the toothpaste he still looked absolutely stunning. His hair was all messy and going in all different directions and his eyebrows were furrowed probably for the same reason why Melody grunted before getting up. And Melody swore she felt her heart warm up in the cold bathroom by simply looking at him.
He then looked over at her and got a lopsided smile and diverted his eyes down to his feet.
Then Melody noticed not one but two toothbrushes laying on his sink.
"Why do you have two toothbrushes?" He then looked up at her with the biggest smile, his dimples showing.
"Because, well, like you're here a lot and well in the morning you just leave right away to get ready. I know it's only across the hall but still, I just thought, why not keep you here for as long as I can?" He said with a small shrug of his shoulders.
And well, Melody thought her heart might burst from happiness. So she took the biggest risk of stepping her bare feet on the cold tile to make her way to the warm boy. Immediately she was embraced into his warm arms and nearly fell asleep in them.
"Oh that reminds me." Melody said, very suddenly cutting off their hug and running to her bag sitting in his living room and returning thirty seconds later with her hands behind her back and a very confused Harry. "I have something for you too."
Harry tilted his head, and well he kind of looked like a puppy and Melody was kind of crying on the inside.
"What?" The smile on his face reappeared, making one grow on her face as well.
"So like, we spend every night together, whether it be at my place or yours and like, you ever need to come over to my place, I want you to be able to whenever." She opened up her hand to reveal a key in her palm. Harry's eyes dashed between the key to her eyes. "So here's a key to my apartment."
Taking the key, he looked at her. "You just made my toothbrush thing look totally lame." He said placing his hands on her cheeks, pulling her into a kiss.
They soon walked back into Harry's room sharing a few more kisses making Melody's stomach explode with butterflies.
"I should really go back to my apartment to get ready." Melody said, her body still filled with warmth from all of Harry's sweet gestures.
This made Harry frown and as she tried to take a few steps back towards to the door of his bedroom, he just pulled her right back to his body. He placed another short kiss on her lips.
"No, don't leave." There was no way on earth Melody could hide her smile.
"But I need to get ready, Harry." In response he just hugged her even closer to him for a few seconds before pulling away himself. He walked over to his dresser opening a drawer to pull out a simple cable knit sweater and handing it to her.
"Just wear this. Now you don't have to leave." She took the sweater out of his hands with a smile.
So Melody put on Harry's sweater and brushed her teeth with her toothbrush in his bathroom and never left his apartment, and Harry added a new key to his key chain while constantly giving Melody small kisses.
