Nicki POV

After to hours our hair was braided, I got up to pay but apparently my meddling baby mother had already paid. We all left out the shop, walking to the nearby Nail salon. By the time we got there Ming was standing out front waiting for us. I told mommy to tell her to come by, so we come formally meet.

"Hi mommy." Ming said hugging mommy. She looked at me and then the girls waving shyly. We waved back and all went into the shop. I told the lady full sets and pedis. We was starting with our feet, we all walked over to the chairs taking a seat Ming on the outside then my mother, me, Rumi then blue.

"Mommy?" Speaking of Blue.

"Yes baby."

"Can we have our iPads." I thought about it for a while. I really didn't want rumi dropping hers.

"You can have yours but watch something do rumi can watch with you, I don't want her to drop it."

"Ok mommy. Thank you." I told her she was welcome handing her the iPad.

"Ming baby, remember I told you about your older sister?"  I ended up hearing my mother say to Ming.

"Yea I remember." She spoke softly making my heart swell. I wanna be mad at my mother for keeping this from me, from keeping her baby from me. I always wanted siblings, a sister to be exact.

"Nika, dear this your Ming your sister, and Ming this is your sister Onika."

"Hi Onika, nice to meet you."

"Hi baby, nice to meet you too." I gave her a smile before looking over at Rumi and blue, who were so engrossed in the iPad, they paid no mind to us.

"And two are two of my three children that are here already." I paused looking from the girls back to Ming. " the older one name is Blue and the baby name is Rumi."

"Awww they are so cute."

"Thank you." I smiled and we feel into a comfortable silence.

"Ming why you working? Do I not send enough.
?" My mom questioned after a while. Ming shrugs before looking up from her feet, her eyes on mom's.

"She told me I needed to help out with bills if I lived there."

"Why didn't you call?"

"I don't have a phone, and if I use the landline she would hear. And say u was ungrateful." Ming says while looking back down at her feet that was being done, like she was nervous, or even scared.

" Well we gone change that today." I spoke up before I could even think. Whether I knew her or not, this was my sister and she was not gonna suffer if I could help it.

"You don't have to." Ming spoke softly.

"I know I don't have to, but I want to." I gave her a genuine smile making her give me one back in return. I pulled my phone texting be asking her to order Ming a phone. Once she told me she'd go grab it, while we were out, I thanked her putting my phone away.

"Mommy how long y'all out here for?" Ming asked

"I think two weeks." My mom told her. Ming nodded getting quiet. I'm not mine myself not to be mad again but the more this young girl sit here the more I feel bad. We live in America and we would have to be leaving her here, and I don't think I liked that idea.

Eventually our feet were done and we were going to the chairs to get our nails done. The girls and I were going with the colors to the gender reveal. Our pointer finger being colored and designs with the sex we thought. Blue was like her MaMa thinking it was a boy, while me and rumi got pink for girl.
