Chapt.6- Comfortable

Brenda's POV

During detention we were kind of just texting, Lucas and I.

Jessica pushed me as she walked out of detention. I get ready to punch her. Lucas grabs me and says, "No, not again." I clench my fist.

Lucas wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we walked out of detention. It feels comfortable but kind of uncomfortable.

"You need a ride?" He asks.Let me see, damn they took the car. "Yes, please." He smiles. "Hop in." I get in and he starts to drive. My fist still clenched.

He stops and gets out of the car. "Lucas this isn't my house." He comes over to the passenger side of the car. "I know." He says as he opens the door, I get out. He takes my hand as we walk over to what looks like the lake. We stand in front of the lake.

"What is this place?" I ask as I look at the water flow. "I found this place, the day my dad just disappeared. I come here whenever I'm angry or when I want to be alone. " I can feel him starring at the side of my head. "It seems like a calm place to relax." I smile while looking at him. "It is and its the best at sunset." I look around at the trees surrounding us. " I bet." I smile at the scene in front of me.

He grabs my hand and I turn to face him. "This is the place I feel the most comfortable, so I am going to go out and say. I am really happy around you. Your the best and I feel like I can be myself around you and share things I normally wouldn't tell just anyone.

Your beautiful, smart, nice and can kick ass if you need to-" I smile widely. "- I can always count on you to make me smile or laugh. I've always been around and liked you but I was never able to tell you because you had a boyfriend." I look down. he uses his finger to bring my face up.

I know your not completely comfortable around me and I'm ok with that, I want you to be able just say anything you want without thinking about it first. I want you to kiss and touch me whenever you want. I want you to be mine.-" He takes a deep breath. "- Really what I'm trying to ask is, will be my girlfriend?"

I smile widely. "yes I would love to be your girlfriend." He pulls my hands along with my body, making me smash into his lips and chest. He slides his hands down above my ass. I rest my hands on his chest as he slips his tongue into my mouth. Our lips move in sync.

His phone rings. I pull back just a little but he keeps kissing me. "Lucas, kiss, your, kiss, phone"

"Your more important and your mine." He connects our lips again. I wrap my arms around his neck. I feel his arms tighten around my waist.Holding me closer to him.

We pull back at the same time. He tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear. "c'mon lets go."

Once pull up to the house, Lucas hugs me and pecks my lips once before I leave.

"WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" Brandon yells. Braxton and Bryce stand behind him with there arms crossed. "You know I had practice." He looks at his watch. "yeah that ended an hour and 30 minutes ago." I roll my eyes before walking up the stairs to my room. They're not about to change my happiness, I have a boyfriend again, and one that I really don't want to lose.

Jaden didn't do half the things Lucas does. "BRENDA I WASN'T FINISHED TALKING TO YOU." My Phone dings.

Lucas- Your brothers are on your ass right now aren't they?

Me- You wouldn't believe it.

Bryce snatches the phone out of my hand. "You were with Lucas weren't you?" I roll my eyes. "Why does it matter, we don't have curfew and you guys like Lucas so why the fuck does it matter. I'm here aren't I?" Bryce takes a deep breath.
