Birthday surprise

Yep, today's my birthday and I'm still in bed. New Year's Eve. I know I should be happy but it's the first the first birthday we have to celebrate without Bryce. My door opens revealing Braxton.

"Brandon and I are going to visit Bryce, you wanna come?" I nod.

"Just give me 10 minutes." He nods and closes the door.

I take a quick shower. I put on my black skinny jeans with a black sweatshirt adding my pink bailey bow Uggs,I leave my hair down.

I walk down the stairs. I guess we all think a like because we all had on black pants or sweatpants with a black sweatshirt.

"Good mornings quads. Happy birthday." My dad said hugging us.

"Breakfast will be ready in about 30 minutes." Mom said as she was cooking.

"We'll be back." Brandon said as we walked out of the house without another word.

We drive to the cemetery in silence other than the radio. We get out of the car and walk to his grave. My heart beats louder and louder as we get closer and closer to his grave. This is the first time since his funeral since I've seem his grave.

We stand side by side and we each talk to him, I go first,

"H-hi Bryce, we um we miss you. Today is our birthday, happy birthday. You have a beautiful son, I bet you already know that but I know your watching over me and that you want the best for me b-but I want you back. I miss your smile, laugh, how you always would tell me to go upstairs and change-" I laugh a little. "- how over protective you were and how understanding you were. I promise to visit you more, I l-love you." My voice cracking as I talk.

Brandon starts.

"Wassup lil bro, I hope your happy, like Brenda said we miss you and it hasn't been the same without you. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and think about how much how better my life would be if you were here. You were always so bright and funny and relaxed. I miss that. I love you bro."

Braxton starts.

"Hey Bryce, I miss and think about you all the time. I wish you were here but I can except the fact that God called you home. I hope that you can continue to watch and send us blessings, like your little son. Monica loves you and so does everyone else. See you soon and I love you."

We drive back to our house and we all get back in the bed. I turn on home alone and watch it, while laying in he bed. Braxton went to his room and Brandon went to his room. This is the most depressing birthday we've ever had.

Lucas's POV

Monica, Becca, Gio and I stand at there door and we rig the door bell. It opens and we come in.

"Happy birthday." We all say as we step inside. Looking around we see no one but there dad and then there mom comes in.

"Where are they?" Gio asks.

"Uhh there in there rooms."

"I know I didn't get the date wrong, isn't today there birthday?" Becca asks and they both nod.

"Then what are they doing there suppose to be celebrating."

"I don't know what there doing but I do know that they have barely said a word."
