Chapt.22: A regular couple

Brenda's POV

"What you wanna watch, just no romance shit." I laugh, as he swings our linked hands side to side.

"Why did you even ask?" I roll my eyes.

"Just trying to be polite."

"Nigga please." He laughs and goes over to the stacked movies.

"Ok what about roll bounce?" I nod as he puts the CD in the DVD player. He pulls me onto his bed as he presses 'play' on the remote. This is an old movie but it's a good one.

I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around waist. When the movie is over and the credits start rolling I look up at Lucas and he looks down at me.

"I'm glad your not dead." He chuckles a little.

"I'm glad I'm not dead to ma, be honest with me would you have kept your promise?"

"Maybe, maybe not."

"Ya see that's a problem because you were gonna let my death take over most of your life." I scoff.

"Not most just the rest of junior year, senior year, all of college if I went, and maybe two to three years after college. So approximately six to seven years."

"You make me so mad, but I still love you."

"Same, I love you too." He pecks my lips.

"Even though I'm still mad."

"Why?"

"Because this is ridiculous seven years for you to move on."

"That was just an estimate I don't know how I'm gonna feel in college, I jist imagine my myself that way, and how long did if it take for you to get over your girlfriend."

"Two years."

"But that was because you found somebody right?"

"Eh kind of, I went all of sophomore year and some of junior year without a girlfriend." I smile and peck his lips.

"I went all my life except for two weeks before you asked me out without a boyfriend, but I wish you were the first, you were my first real kiss and hopefully you'll be the first to take my virginity."

"Not hopefully, I will, if The Lord is willing." I laugh.

"Yeah hopefully-" I grab his wrist and look at the time. "I gotta go right now because apparently we do have a curfew and Brett came home after curfew. He is grounded."

"But he's here with Lauren right now." I nod.

"Yeah I know I just have to get him home before our parents get there, since he's breaking the rule." He laughs and pulls me down for a kiss.

I get off of him and peck him one more time before leaving his room going to Lauren's. I walk inside because the door is open, and see them playing video games, but she's sitting on his lap trying to get in his way.

I laugh, "come on Brett we have to beat mom and dad home."

"Yeah ok play for me." He pushes her off of him and gives me the controller as I begin to play and I kill her winning the game by getting a head shot with my shot gun.

"Nooooooo." She wines as I do a victory dance. Brett comes back in.

"Oh Lauren did I forget to tell you Brenda is a master at this game ." He laughs and she jumps on his back tackling him to the floor. I laugh at them.

"Oh what your not gonna help me?" He asks looking up a me and I shake my head, no.

"Yeah girl power." Lauren laughs as she gets up off of him.

"What the fuck about sibling power?" I laugh at him. We both hug Lauren bye and leave. I drive home.

"I thought you already had a girlfriend, so what's going on with you and Lauren?"

"I do have a girlfriend, Lauren actually helped me get my girlfriend. We're just friends, best friends. Even though she's pretty and fun to be around I didn't want to date her because when you and Lucas get married we're gonna be siblings and if we were together before then there's all this bad blood, that is not needed because our families love each other. "

"First of all who said Lucas and I were getting married? Second of all you shouldn't let me dating Lucas stop you and third of all do you actually want your girlfriend or do you want Lauren?"

"Number 1 you and Lucas are gonna get married stop frontin' you and Lucas were meant to be so you will be getting married, then number 2 you guys aren't stopping me from dating her and number 3 I definitely want my girlfriend, Lauren is just that best friend, I happen to have that is female. Megan is totally fine with it and so am I." I park the car and rush him inside.

When we walk in We see Gio and Braxton making out. Gio is straddling Braxton as he sits up and Gio is in his lap.

I clear my throat and they pull apart looking at the both of us.

"Ew I fucking hate all my bestfriend dating my brothers." Braxton scoffs.

"Now you know I feel with you, my oldest sister dating my nigga, my brother from another mother."

"That's not fair because I'm only one person dating yo bestfriend when I have you and Gio, Brandon and Becca and technically Monica and Bryce were and still are dating. I'm dating your one bestfriend and you guys are dating all of my best friends." He sticks his tongue and pulls Gio I'm for another kiss. I groan loudly and he laughs.
