Chapt.12- Your Making everything worse

Weeks later, Brenda's POV

"5 6 7 8, 1 2 3 4..5 6 7 8." It was lunch time but I was skipping because I needed to learn this cheer in order to cheer at the game.

Lucas POV

Looking around the lunchroom Brenda is no where in site. She better not be skipping. Or we gone have a serious fucking problem. Sitting down next to Isaiah, who is also on the football team.

"Bro, do you know where Brenda at?" he shrugs.

"I over heard her and one of the cheerleaders talking about practicing during lunch." I nod.

"thanks bro, I'll be back." So she really thinks I'm going to let her ass skip lunch.

I walk into the gym without her knowing I hide next to the bleachers so I'm out of site.

"Our teams gonna kick your butt." She yells along with Solange who also a cheerleader. She does a jump split and lands in her middle. Ouch.

"Yeah thats it you got it." Brenda nods.

"Okay come on next one."

"What about Lucas?" Thank you Solange for helping her remember she needs to eat and I'll have a heart attack if she doesn't.

"What abut Lucas?"

"Like won't he have a heart attack if he doesn't see you at lunch?" She shrugs.

"I've come up with a theory that he cares but he doesn't care that much.Either way I asked Isaiah to go over some plays with him, I just hope he does considering the fact that they're both like bestfriends."

My bestfriend doesn't lie to me. ha.

"Ok I'll let it slide but what did you have for breakfast?"

"I had water for breakfast."

"Ok thats it your going to lunch."

"Why because technically you can live without food for a while its just water you can't live without, and I'll definitely have a dinner, because we'll all be at the table. Just don't tell Lucas."

"Are you sure you know what your doing I mean hes just trying to help."

"I don't know I think he was just faking it, Jaden was the exact same way, acting like he cared but really he didn't give to flying fucks about it, Lucas is probably just like him."

"I don't think so. Your hurting him."

"How am I hurting him?"

"If you really mean as much as he says you mean to him then hes gonna be pissed and hurt. Brenda he loves you and I mean loves you until the day you both die. Don't do this to him. Have you been taking your pills."

Brenda looks down, OH HELL NAH. I walk out.

"BRENDA." She looks like a deer caught in head lights, while looking at me. Solange gives her that I told you so look and walks out. Brenda ruffles her hair.

"How much of that were you there for?"

"All of it." Her head hangs low.

"Do you even want to get better?" She nods. "It doesn't sound like it. So you really thought my bestfriend would lie to me. Wow. I can't believe you would even compare me to that nigga jaden, I have been there for you since day one, day fucking one and you won't even do me a simple favor which is to eat when its helping you. I love you more than you could ever imagine and you don't believe that. Tell me what I have done to make believe that I have been lying to you the whole time. Just tell me I really want to know, SO BRENDA WHAT THE FUCK HAVE DONE?" I clench my jaw.
