Chapt.21: What-How?

The door swings open and someone starts firing behind me but I don't bother to look up.

Someone lifts me up but I fight it.

"G-get off of me." I open my eyes to see LUCAS. I wrap my arms around his neck squeezing to make sure it's actually him.

"C'mon lets get out of here."  I lets go of him but he grabs my hand pulling me to the car. We get in and he starts driving down the street occasionally looking in the rear view mirror. He hands me the gun, wow I've never held one of these this is cool.

"What-why- how are you here." I ask studying the gun.

"I had a gun on me. And when the guards left it as just me and him so when he was just walking around me I was able to get my gun out and shoot him until he was dead. For sure."

"How did you have a gun they pat you down."

"Funny thing, I had it in my underwear. So basically it was pressed against my dick, it kind hurt." I pause.

"Wait so you mean this-" I drop the gun on the floor. He chuckles.

"You act like it's not gonna be inside you but really soon it will be." I roll my eyes and he chuckles.

"Where we going?"

"My house first because I gotta make sure Lauren didn't explain anything to my mom yet. She will whoop my ass if she finds out." I laugh.

"So there gone forever?"

"Nope his gang is still there but there lost without a leader and no one was at the ware house so they don't know that there gonna need a new leader and two guards." I laugh. He stops his car in front of his house. I open my door and get out grabbing his hand, while he looks for his keys. He unlocks the door and it reveals Lauren and her mother on the couch.

"We're too late." Lauren's eyes meet Lucas's and a smile breaks through her face.

"LUCASS." She runs and jumps into his arms.

"Did you tell her?" I asked quietly and she shook her head, no.

"Thank God." Lucas lets out a breath.

"What is up with you three?"

"Nothing." We all answer quickly.

"Whatever just don't do anything stupid." We all laugh.

"Lucas what happened?"

"Instead I killed him it's actually pretty simple, i had a hidden gun and when it was just us two and he wasn't paying attention i shot and killed him."

"He did't just shoot him three times but he also shot the two guards." He collapses on the couch.

"Either way I'm just happy I'm not dead." I sit on his lap.

"Yeah me too." I added on resting my head on his chest.

"Yeah, I'm just happy I still have a living brother." We all laugh and Lucas looks at his Rolex.

"C'mon I have some business to take care of." He taps my thigh and I get up.

"Where are we going?" I ask as he pulls off.

"Don't worry about it." The ride was a comfortable silence other than the radio. We pulled up In front of a ware house. Lucas got and came to my side of the car.

"Just stay close." I nodded before he intertwined our hands. We walked up to the ware house and went inside. All around you see girls on boys laps,boys smoking weed, doing drugs and loading guns. Lucas dapped a couple of them up. He pulled me to this door guarded by a huge man.

"Is king in there?" The tall buff man nodded letting us in. Lucas pulled me in as I studied everybody. I squeezed his hand as we walked in and a man who I'm guessing is king was staring at me.

"King, you wanted to see me."

"So how are you still here?"

"I killed him."

"The reason why I wanted to see you is to ask you why didn't inform me about this nigga."

"He threatened to kill my family and her family, still take her. I couldn't take that chance."

"Fine. So this is the famous Brenda?"  I smile stepping closer to Lucas,

"Yeah this is her."

"He really loves you." I smile up at Lucas.

"Yeah, I know. And I really love him."

"Your dismissed."

"Walt hol up, is true that my brothers are in this gang."

"Who are your brothers?"

"Brandon, Braxton, Bryce and Brett." He nods his head.

"Yes, I actually think very highly of them." Lucas and I walk out. I make a mental note to slap my brothers up side the head for being in a gang.

"What's his name?" I ask as we walk to the car.

"King and basically he's the king." I laugh, nodding.
