sorry if my writing is starting to suck i'm trying to get back to the way I was updating before. 

Brenda's POV

Today is the day. The day Lucas and I go to prom. My brothers already asked there girlfriends to senior Prom, even though it took them long enough. I am so excited.

After curling my hair and putting on my make up it was time for the dress and the shoes. When I was completely ready I did a 360 in the long mirror.

I take a deep breath and fluff my hair, giving myself a little pep talk.

"Brenda's hes here." My mom yells up the stairs, on last deep breath before walking down the stairs.

I see Lucas standing in his blue tux. He smiles and I smile back. My dad whistles, and everyone laughs. Lucas grabs my hand.

"You look amazing." He whispers swiftly in my ear.

"Ok, ok pictures." My mom takes millions and millions off pictures.

"Mom."

"Oh, just one more." She snaps one more before I start to pull Lucas out off the door. Hearing 'byes' as the door closes. I let out a breath.

"Finally." He laughs and grabs my hand walking me to the limo.

"Did I tell you, you look beautiful?" I nod.

"Yes you did, but I'm not the only one who is looking nice today." He smiles and dusts imaginary dust off of his shoulder.

"I know, I'm lookin' very fine tonight too."

"Uhh who said I was talkingg about you. I was talking about Durk he posted it on instagram." He glares at me.

I bust out laughing.

"Baby I'm just playing." I say.

"Ha ha ha very funny." He says sarcastically opening the car door for me.

"Yes you are lookin so fine tonight though."

"I know." He says before pecking my lips and getting in after me.

Today has been a great day, I just can't get college off my mind. I told him I got in and accepted duke but I really didn't. I want to tell him at the right time and today just doesn't feel like the day.

"Whatchu thinking about?" Lucas asks, grabbing my hand.

"Nothing." I say staring straight ahead. He gives me that look.

"Really I'm just thinking about college that's all."

"Technically college is nothing, and why you thinking about that, we're going to college together."

"That's what I'm thinking about, it's a happy thought." He nods, as we pull up to the school. He being he gentleman that he is he opens the door, I take his hand and we walk hand in hand towards the school.

"I just can't wait to graduate." Lucas says while opening the door for me. I smile and nod going Along with it. 

"You and Lucas are the cutest things." Becca says.
