You lied to me

Brenda's POV

"Yeah, ok I have to admit Senior Ditch day was really fun."

"See your happy Lucas pulled you away from school." Gio says.

"I just hope it doesn't go on my record." I say worriedly. Monica and Becca roll there eyes.

"Ole goodie goodie is back." Brenda mumbles loud enough us to hear it. I pout and shove her lightly. She and the others laugh.

"So have you and Lucas started talking about college yet?" Monica asks.

"No, I keep pushing it off, because I mean I don't want to rush it."

"Yeah I wish Brandon and I would have waited. Since we talked about it and I told him I don't want to go to the same college as him he got mad and now when he talks to me he gives me all these short bullshit answers." Becca sighs.

"He'll get over it. Lucas wants to talk about it but I don't want to yet. I'll um I'll see you guys in a minute." I say and they nod walking to the lunch room. I go to my locker and put my books away.

Lucas just rushed out of class and he didn't go to the lunchroom. I walked out of the school looking for Lucas. I walked to the side of the school I saw Carson and Riley with a cigarette in there hands.

"Hey guys, have you seen Lucas?"

"Yeah um he went down that alley just a minute ago." Riley said pointing to an alley. I nodded walking towards the alley. I started walking down the alley, a little creeped out. I saw Lucas talking to a guy and the guy gave him some money, then Lucas gave a small baggy to the unknown guy while looking around. They dapped and the man started walking away.

"Aye Lucas can I have a hit." I say while he looks down counting the money.

" Just one sec-" He looks up at me and stops talking immediately.

"Baby I-" I cut him off walking a little closer to him.

"So Lucas can I have a hit. Yes or No?" I say sarcastically.

"Baby, listen I can explain-" he says walking closer to me but I cut him off again.

"You lied to me. You told me you were out... I mean theres nothing you need to explain to me. Just period you lied to me." I start walking away but he grabs my arm and pulls me back towards him.

"You don't understand."

"NO LUCAS, I understand so fucking clearly. Were going to college and YOU DON'T EVEN CARE. I understand clearly. DON'T CALL ME, DON'T TEXT ME AND DON'T TALK TO ME." I yell at him. (Letters in cap means yelling.) I snatch my arm from his grasp and start walking back to the school.

"Uggg." I stomp my way back to the school.

Lucas's POV

Its been like 5 days since shes talked to me and I am freaking out, I didn't think she could just not talk to me for a week. I thought she was playing around but I guess I was wrong.

"Baby, please talk to me. I'm sorry ok, I just I can't leave right now." She walks up to her room ignoring me.

I walk into her room.

"Please, please, please, please, please" I say grabbing her waist, kissing her neck. She pushes me away.

" I love you baby please. I'll leave it, just talk to me." She continues to ignore me and she goes into the bathroom, locking it.

I walk out of her room and down the stairs. I sit on the couch next to Brett.

"Still not talking to you?" I shake my head, no.

"I don't know what else to do?"

"Heres an idea for you, leave the gang." He says sarcastically.

"You know I can't do that. Everyone thinks theres a snitch and if I leave that just makes it seem like its me. King really trusts us but he'll kill me if he thinks I'm the snitch. She doesn't understand that. She just thinks that I don't care about college, my future or her."

"I mean I don't know what to tell you man, you could lie to her."

"Again? I already told her once that I left, you want me to lie again then she really won't talk to me or trust me."

"Heres the advice I'm gonna give you. Do what you gotta do man." I sigh heavily.

I get up and grab my keys leaving there house. I drive to the trap house and dap everyone as I try to get to Kings office. The guard lets me in and I see King writing some stuff down on a piece of paper.

"Hey King, can we talk?"

"Yeah sure whats up lil nigga." I sigh.

" I know this is bad timing and all with the snitch, but I have to ask you this. Um can I leave the gang?" He drops his pen and stands up cracking his knuckles.

"you wanna do what." I hold my hands up as if surrendering.

" Ok listen, I don't want to leave but Brenda is forcing me to. I'd do anything for her and you know I would, even if that mean't walking out of here with some people thinking I'm the snitch." He pinches the bridge of his nose and sits back down.

"Sit." he says sternly. I do as told sitting down in one of the chairs thats in front of his desk.

" It kills me to say this but, fine. You can leave, without a scratch. I understand you, Brenda and her brothers are going off to college and I don't want to stop you from doing that. I wanted to go to college to but my father wouldn't allow me to. You guys are smart kids I don't want to ruin your lives. Your all free to leave." I smile and he smiles back at me.

"Thank you, I never did think you had a soft spot." I joked with him and he laughed.

"Nether did I but I know that if I was Brenda and loved you the way she does I wouldn't want you to waist your life doing this when your about to graduate and get a full scholarship from basketball to college. Go." I stand up and so does he.

"Thank you man." I say while dapping him.

"Don't worry about it You, Braxton and Brandon are out." I nod leaving his office thanking him one last time.

I hoped in my care and drove to Brenda's house. Brett opened the door for me and I ran up to Brenda's room. I picked her up and spun her around. She pushed me away and sat on her bed. I bent down to her level, I whispered in her ear.

"I left the gang." I whispered gently and kissed her gently behind the ear. She looked at me.

"I don't believe you." Was the first thing she said to me.

"I promise you on our relationship, I'm out, Brandon is out and Braxton is out. I got all of us out." I said with all seriousness staring into her eyes. I watched as a smile broke out on her face. I smiled back and she pressed her lips to mine. I kissed her back pushing her on her bed.

"I love you." She said before I said.

"I love you too."
