THE DAY STARTED with a buzz on set. the crew exchanged glances and knowing smirks as teagan and nicholas strolled in, hands dangling close but pinkies intertwined - a quiet, intimate tether connecting them. it was subtle, yes, but anyone who saw it knew it was meaningful. a soft, unspoken promise, made even sweeter by how oblivious the two of them seemed to everyone else's knowing smiles.

marcus, their director, practically beamed as he spotted them. he was a veteran in the industry, with a sixth sense for on-screen chemistry, and this morning, he was in rare form. with his hands tucked behind his back, he gave teagan and nicholas a nod, a playful glint in his eye.

after days of tension, emotional breaks, and endless rumors about what exactly had been going on between teagan and nicholas, everyone was ready to see if the chemistry between their characters, harper and josh, would finally spark back to life.

teagan glanced at nicholas as they made their way to the set, the slightest smile tugging at her lips as they reached their marks. he gave her a reassuring nod, his usual smirk back in place. this scene was going to be a fun one - a high-energy group dinner before the wedding, followed by a no-holds-barred game night that would bring out the competitiveness between josh and harper, who were still raw from their last fight. the scene had layers of banter, playful jabs, and unspoken emotions simmering just below the surface.

as they took their places at the dinner table set, marcus clapped his hands together. "alright, you two, let's see that fire back on screen. i want tension, i want banter, i want all that unresolved messiness. give me your best." he winked, adding in a low voice, "and make it as awkward for everyone else as you can."

the cameras rolled, and teagan slid into character as harper, her expression shifting from soft to sharp in an instant. she glared across the table at nicholas, whose character, josh, looked annoyingly smug. she picked up her glass of wine, holding his gaze as she took a long, slow sip.

teagan (as harper, sneering, her tone light but biting): "enjoying yourself, josh? it's nice to see you can actually show up to something for once."
