I never imagined living a normal life, nor did I dare to dream of having a family that would love me beyond my wildest hopes.

Twenty years had passed since we found out that the owners of CHIRPS decided to stay as friends. Siguro sila 'yong pinagtagpo pero hindi tinadhana. Pero ayos lang, masaya naman sila pareho.

"Happy Birthday, Mommy," bati sa akin ng bunso kong si Romilyah. She kissed my temples as I gave her a weak nod. Siya lang ang kasama ko ngayon dahil may sari-sarili na ring pamilya ang iba naming anak.

Tumango lang ako sa kaniya. Pansin ko ang pagtulo ng luha sa kaniyang mga mata. "Sana nandito pa rin si Dad, para nakikita pa rin namin ang ngiti mo, Ma."
