TASHA'S POV
I can't believe this guy. After what he did to me in the past, he still have the guts to stand in front of me. We had been dating for 4 years and seemed to be the perfect pair. However, one fateful day, our relationship took a turn for the worse. Sunod lang siya nang sunod sakin. Hanggang sa makarating kami sa apartment ay nakasunod siya.
“Pwede bang lumayo ka sakin Kian?! I don't need to hear all of your sh!ts”
I don't know what have got into him. He did what I hate the most and still, he's here, trying to fix our relationship.
“Tasha, hear me out! Bakit ba ayaw na ayaw mo akong makita?”
“Because you cheàted Kian! You know I loathe cheaters!”
Nagbabadya nang tumulo ang mga luha sa mata ko. It's still vivid in my mind. How he made my life miserable that day. He's so fvcked up.
“It's not the truth baby... Hindi mo man lang ako hinayaang magpaliwanag sayo...”
Pinanood ko siyang lumuhod sa harap ko. May ilang luhang tumutulo sa mga mata niya. I know he's hurting. Parehas kaming nasasaktan.
“I gave you enough space, Tasha. Ang tagal kong m-minahal ka. Ang tagal kong....hanggang t-tingin lang sayo...”
“I don't need to hear anything Kian. I saw everything.” malamig na sabi ko sakanya.
“And you believe it without even hearing my side?” umiiyak na sabi niya. I feel sorry for him, that he's begging right in front of me. But what can I do? Hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ba ako sakanya o hindi.
“What's the point of us talking about it, Kian?”
“I told you Tasha, I'll win you back”
He still loves me and I doubted it.
“I didn't do that Tasha. You know I love you so much” he said.
But I was not convinced. “I saw it in my own eyes, Kian. How can you deny it when there's evidence right in front of me?!” pa sigaw na sabi ko.
That day, I saw him with the woman who I h@ted the most. She's kissing him... So deep... And Kian seemed lost with it.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I struggled to make sense of the situation. “If you didn't cheat on me, then why were you with that woman? Why were you lying to me?!”
He didn't speak. He didn't answer my question. Feeling overwhelmed with emotion, I turned away from him, unable to bear the thought of being lied to.
“I don't know what to believe anymore, Kian. I trusted you with all my heart and you've shattered that trust”
As the rain poured down outside, the atmosphere inside the small apartment was just as tumultuous. We're stood facing each other, our eyes locked in a heated battle of emotions. My face was streaked with tears, my chest heaving with anger, while his expression was a mixture of regret and desperation. The betrayal cut deep, slicing through the bond we had shared for so long. It was a gut-wrenching blow that shattered my trust in him.
“I'm sorry.. Let's fix this Tasha, I can't endure it anymore...”
“Tàngina ka naman Kian! Ni hindi mo nga maipaliwanag sakin!”
“Because you're not given me even a tiny chance to explain everything!”
“Then fvcking explain it!” Nauubusan nang pasensyang sabi ko.
I wanted to believe him, to trust in the love we had shared for so long. But the doubts lingered, the pain still fresh in my heart. I closed my eyes , trying to find solace in the memories of our happier times together. He had been my rock, my anchor in a stormy sea. Could I really let that go?
