Chapter 27

The dreams that plague us.

I got alot of sleep lately, maybe it was the exhaustion, or maybe it was because the others forced me too. I thought that maybe they were worried I wasn't handling it well, being kidnapped and all but I was fine.

It wasn't like the movies where the protagonist was plagued with vivid dreams of the horrific things that happened to them. I had a few dreams, don't get me wrong. If you didn't have nightmares after seeing all of that carnage, there was something seriously wrong with you. But once I got back with the others, I quickly fell back into the groove of things.

I felt safe with them, even if one of them was a mutating abomination waiting to happen. Kieran and Damien had been especially helpful in making me feel comfortable with their constant staring and bodyguard-like tendencies. At least one of them was always with me when I was awake, making sure I was okay and my wounds were healing well.

The others were tentative too, cooking me food and bringing it to the van where I spent most of my time resting. Skyler talked with me alot, keeping me company when the boys were keeping watch.

It made it almost impossible to remember back to when I was alone, and feeling that heart wrenching fear I felt when I was being thrown around in that car. Now whenever I thought about it, the others charged in, killing the woman and setting me free. Every memory was replaced with the misfits I cherished, barreling in with full force to get to me. It settled a comfort in my chest to know that they would come for me, that they cared about me enough to fight the infected and crude monsters that held me hostage.

I think it was only a day or two, I wasn't sure with the frequent naps I took. The days seemed to blend into one, but now it was night time, I could tell by the lack of light streaming in through the front seats of the van. The back door was shut, and I remembered they shut it so as to not wake me when they sat around to eat dinner.

As I laid in the back of the dark van thinking about my dream, a tingling rippled over my skin.

I could still feel it, Damien's heat as he pressed against my back, the firm but tender grip he had on my neck as he tilted it up to gain access, holding me tightly against him as he breathed deeply into the small of my neck. He had me flush against him, his warm and firm hand gently gripping my hip as he pulled me back into him. Our bodies bobbed in sync with one another, slowly rubbing, creating friction against our jeans as breathy moans seeped from our lips. His broad chest pressed against my back, and feeling his exposed skin against me radiated a heat that set my body ablaze.

Moans escaped my lips in soft, breathy segments as Kieran’s wet, and gently devouring lips pressed against my chest, leaving trails of saliva where his tongue had run over me. His hands slowly explored my torso, lightly gripping onto my ribcage as he trailed down further. His mouth opened wide as he tasted me, quiet groans vibrating against my skin.

Hearing their rumbling, deep moans, sparks ignited on my skin, leaving me breathlessly dizzy in the heat of their embrace. I couldn't get enough. I wanted more. I gripped at them desperately, feeling their bare bodies pressed against mine. Their warmth was all around me, engulfing me in a heat that made the air catch in my lungs. The air thick with desire and raw lust, I couldn't think, my mind focused solely on the way that they moved.

The warm light orange hue that surrounded us made my temperature rise even more, sedating every fear or nervousness I could ever conjure.

Damien's teeth sunk into my neck and sharp groans left me as I rocked back against him. A deep, brass rumble ripped from his throat. A sound of pure satisfaction as his firm fingers dug into my hip, gripping my waist tighter as he pulled me back into him. His lips lingered by my ear, and his warm breath grazed against my neck, making me suck in a breath of hot air before he whispered.
