Bonus chapter: The Union

(Palace of Morelia).

After the last story the younglings took much time to reflect on what they had learned. In the last two days they'd learned that a world they thought had everything had actually been oppressed and destroyed by war for longer than they would've ever thought possible.

And the fact the republics greed was what lead to the suffering the second time was more reason for the younglings to despise it and it helped give them a clearer understanding of why the confederacy waged war against them.

However Revan told them that the countess had one more story to share so it was back to the palace.

However this time Carmiya escorted them not to the throne room but somewhere else entirely.

After walking down three flights of stairs they came to a large ornate room with lots of names on the walls and in the middle were Avona and Mila.

"Ah younglings welcome back please join us." Avona says waving them over.

"What is this place." A youngling asks in awe at the many names.

"This my young friend is the memorial room it is where all the names of those who've died for Morelias freedom reside it was added by our first president who unlike later ones was very kind and just.

He added it as a way to honor those who came before." Avona replied with a hint of sadness.

"Anyways you all came for the last story right." She asks with a smile.

Nodding their heads in reply Avona takes a seat and the children sit on the floor except for the Togruta youngling who kept clinging to Carmiya's hip.

(Flash back 500 BBY).

"The story I am about to tell you is like the others a struggle we on Morelia suffered through.

500 years after the Russan reformations Morelia and her colonies was being sucked dry if their resources.

The reason for this was simple Morelia was one of the few planetary governments that had remained intact and it was a very prosperous system at this time.

So the republic who wanted to rebuild began to rely heavily on Morelia to help rebuild other planetary governments.

At the start this was fine but soon the core became more greedy and through corruption a new president of Morelia was chosen and he was extremely corrupt.

(Images appear to the younglings of ships landing and mercenaries raiding banks and other businesses stealing credits and other valuables as the people wept as some were killed when they fought back).

"He allowed the core worlds and mega corporations to come and raid Morelia for extra goods and wealth,

The chancellor Artemis Lexon soon figured out that the president was corrupt and she began to gather Allies.

Among them was the head of the Morelian military and the minister of the economy.

The final ally was in the form of a marriage between her and the chief minister of Raxa prime who had also become disillusioned with the republic.

Raxa prime was slowly losing its own independence as well since the republic wanted to enforce its will in the run and Raxa primes Drive yards were perfect for such a task."

(Images appear to the younglings of republic soldiers marching into cities and establishing laws and cracking down on rebellion and terrorists).

"As you can all probably guess no one in the rim was happy about this and The chancellors early rebellion had already begun to spread.

Only 80 years ago Morelia was feed up with the republic. The trade federation, techno union and commerce guild was running a-mock all across the rim and they saw the suffering others were going through because of it while the core did nothing.

It was then that the chancellor Osther Khliner announced Morelia was seceding from the republic and Raxa prime announced it was doing the same.

This sudden announcement was a shock to the republic as Morelia and Raxa primes military rebelled against the republic presidents over both their systems.

And it wasn't just the republic who was feeling the bite of this uprising crime lords who were in both systems were swiftly killed and their plunder returned to the people.

And any mega corporation ship that was in either system was shot down and seized.

And due to the senate's corruption the republic just allowed this to happen for 3 years until they finally reacted with military force.

However Raxa prime had amassed a massive armada to resist the republic and the ultimatum they sent was simple.

If the republic left them alone then they wouldn't attack republic territory.

Not wanting more violence the Jedi convinced the republic to accept the deal and so Morelia and Raxa prime were left alone.

But knowing it wouldn't be forever the two systems completed their union and joined as one with the main source of income being the newly named Raxon Trade Guild.

The Raxon trade guild was very successful with the rim worlds because they gave cheaper offers for their reliable products and thus their business thrived and slowly the other mega corporations began to lose power as the Raxon trade guild offered the people a way to force their freedom from their oppressive methods.

However only 40 years ago the new republic chancellor tried to get Morelia and Raxa prime to rejoin the republic.

But the union wasn't having it and they refused.

He tried three times but on the 4th attempt 300 Jedi were sent to convince Morelia to reconsider.

However the Jedi never returned to Coruscant and Morelia sent a threat.

If the republic sent any type of military force to Morelia or Raxa prime it would mean war.

After this threat the republic backed off and it wasn't king until Morelia and Raxa prime were at war again with the republic.

(Present time).

"You see children liberation day is more than just a Day where I remember my brothers and sisters who died for our freedom centuries ago.

It is also a day where I mourn those from both sides who died in the clone wars a war where it was because of corruption and greed that it was fought not a war of justice." Avona finished placing Hand over two names.

The padawans were silent until without warning they all group hugged Avona, Mila and Carmiya tears in their eyes.

"We understand now and mark our words countess the people of the confederacy will always be protected we swear it with all our hearts."

Avona smiled as the camera zooms in to show the names.
