"Hello viewers and welcome to the final race of The Princess Race!" Hanbin and Sang Zhi said at the same time to the screaming fans in the arena. The two were on an elevated podium behind a large wedding cake which served as the main challenge.
Both wearing white, Hanbin and Sang Zhi waved at the audiences who screamed and cheered in excitement.
"Over the weeks, 200 contestants battled in tough and vigorous battles and many were unfortunately eliminated." Hanbin said as Sang Zhi nodded "However three contestants proved to be the ultimate game players and effortlessly secured the spots in the final." Sang Zhi said as the crowd cheered.
In the tunnel of the arena, Rahne, Jeongeui and Elise stood in one line. Their green and yellow tracksuits being designed into a long sleeve compression shirt and knee length tennis skirts along with white sneakers.
"So kingdom of China do not be afraid to make noise for our finalists! Contestant Rahne, Contestant Jeongeui and Contestant Elizabeth!" Hanbin screamed out as the three ran out at the same time.
The roar of the audience ringing in Elise's ears as she stopped to look at everyone in the arena. It felt surreal that she had seriously come so far, in a competition that she originally applied for to escape an treacherous and miserable wedding proposal now turned into completing in the final to rightfully marry the love of her life.
Smiling fondly, Elise waved with both hands at the audience who never stopped their cheering. Rahne and Jeongeui already next to Hanbin and Sang Zhi on the podium. Elise turning back and running to her own spot.
Matthew and Zai Zai sat in the black van as they watched the ongoing final. Yujin behind them loading their guns. "Matthew hyung, do you know when Taerae and Gyuvin will arrive?" Yujin questioned as Matthew looked at the monitor in concentration.
"They set on arriving soon, properly already inflitrated the arena, we need to be ready for Youngmin's men.. get into position Yujin." Matthew said as Yujin nodded, putting his bulletproof vest on over his disguised staff uniform as he left the van slamming it shut behind him.
"So what do we do now?" Zai Zai asked looking at Matthew who looked at her briefly before looking back at the monitor "We wait for the final challenge to end."
"Contestants welcome to your final challenge." The intercom announced as Rahne, Jeongeui and Elise turned around to face the large pink wedding cake which was meters away. The crowd cheered at the rumble of the beloved intercom.
"Your final challenge is called fit for a Princess, in 45 minutes you will have to navigate the obstacle course inside the wedding cake, whoever finishes the race first wins and will be crowned the winner of The Princess Race." The intercom announced as Rahne stretched her arms looking at Elise who unexpectedly made eye contact before smirking.
"Good luck contestants, may the best female become the next Princess of China." Sang Zhi encourages from behind them before her and Hanbin moved back. Walking over to the starting line, Elise took a deep breath as she was in the middle of Rahne and Jeongeui.
"The challenge will start in 3,2...1." The familiar sound of the horn going off set inside Elise's brain as the three started running towards the cake.
"And they are off! This will be one compelling final to witness." Hanbin said watching the three finalists run to the door of the giant wedding cake. Elise's pulled out her hand ready to hold the door. Rahne was faster and twisted the door open, pushing pass Elise who stumbled back into Jeongeui.
"Contestant Rahne is in the lead!" Sang Zhi informed as Rahne's fans cheered in the crowd.
The three entered the cake to be met with a beige room and three different doors. The intercom shrieked inside causing Elise to still wince at the loud noise.
"Contestants, two of these doors are legitmate whilst the other one will be trap, choose widely." The intercom announced, Rahne put her bottom lip before walking to the door in the middle before hesitating to open it. Elise scoffed as she went to the door on the left.
"Easy." She said opening it and going through only to fall immediately into a ball pit. "Arggh!" Elise groaned out as a ball pit entered her mouth spitting it out immediately, Rahne and Jeongeui ran with ease. "C'mon. " Elise grunted out as she pulled herself out of the ball pit standing up and running to the next three doors.
Running to the door in the middle, Elise hummed in satisfication opening it up and walking through it, only to fall into a ball pit once more.
"Looks like Contestant Elizabeth isn't making the best choices, she needs to be careful." Sang Zhi commented. Mary bit her lip nervously as she watched the ongoing game through the large monitor in the arena.
"Okay not the best choice." Elise said to herself pulling herself out of the ball pit again, Jeongeui and Rahne running to the only door in the next game. Following behind them, Elise sprinted pass the door as Jeongeui and Rahne looked at the next game.
The intercom shrieked once more as the three finalists turned to look at the intercom. "Contestants, your second game is crown selection, climb the wall and get on the other side." The intercom explained as Elise hummed suspiciously.
"Is that all we should do?" Elise said to herself before running along with Jeongeui and Rahne. The wall was fit with mountain climbing pads. Taking a harsh deep breath, Jeongeui hiked herself onto the climbing pads, moving up the wall slowly. Elise gulped as she put her feet on the climbing pads using the climbing pads above her head for her hands climbing up slowly, Rahne did the same thing.
Suddenly staff members threw large leggo princess crowns their way as Elise screamed dodging the large attack of one near her. Jeongeui briefly paused before she continued climbing.
"Damn!" Rahne grunted out as she almost slipped off the climbing pads holding onto it securely. "40 minutes remaining." The intercom announced as Elise took a deep breath panting slightly as she climbed her way up, a sudden attack from a leggo crown to her face made Elise slip off almost completely but her left hand gripped onto the climbing pad with force.
The audience gasped in surprise, Mary and Chun's faces going pale from shock. The audience screamed when she put her leg on the climbing pad and almost slipped.
Elise closed her eyes as her heart pounded but she climbed the wall dodging one last princess crown and she was on the flat ground on the other side looking at the ceiling.
"Contestant Elizabeth is the first one through!" Hanbin announced to roaring cheers as Mary and Chun jumped up and down in victory. Mr Okayu shifted on his seat sitting up straight looking at the monitor closely.
Rahne followed suite followed by Jeongeui as the three ran to the next location.
It was an even bigger wall but the three were almost to the top. Robes were attached everywhere. The intercom shrieked once again.
"Contestants the next challenge is the wedding vows, climb onto the different love quotes with your robe to assist you, don't let your contestant rip out your robe otherwise you will fall into the pool beneath you." The intercom announced as Elise looked down to see a large deep pool before gulping.
