I woke up an hour before my alarm went off stressing about the tension between Oliver and Chris from last night. Oliver sounded so tense when he had told me he was riding with us this morning. I decided I had enough time to shower before getting ready. Once I was showered and dressed, I still had another 30 minutes before my alarm would be going off. Meaning I had a whole hour and a half before school started. I decided to take this time to go ahead and leave to get Starbucks for me and Ruby. She always got a strawberry Frappuccino still refusing to drink anything with a hint of coffee flavor it in.

I got out to my truck and started it. Waiting for it to warm up I glanced up to the bedroom window that I had in my dream thought was Chris's window. The lights were still off and the house still seemed sound asleep. I pulled out my phone to pick a song to start out my coffee run. Deciding to just hit the shuffle button with 'Broken Toe' by Kevian Kraemer coming on. I forgot I added this one.

I hummed along to the music as I pulled out of the drive way and headed to Starbucks. Pulling into the empty drive thru, I rolled up to order. A woman took my order before I pulled up to the window. Once I got there a tall guy with long brown hair pulled back into a bun was standing at there with an apron and headset on. When he saw me he smiled showing off his dimples opening the window.

He leaned down resting his arm on the windowsill, "Hello, grande strawberry frap and a grande caramel macchiato with extra caramel drizzle?"

"Yep," I said trying to hide my now growing embarrassment that I asked for more caramel on mine.

"$12.38,"he said keeping his eyes on me. I pulled my eyes down to my pocket to grab my wallet and card to pay, he added, "nice truck."

"Thanks," I said as I pulled my card out catching a glimpse of his tongue going back into his mouth making me blush, "Here you go."

He took my card before leaning back up to swipe my card then handing it back to me, "One sec," he said as he disappeared into the coffee shop.

I took this time to get ahold of myself realizing what song was playing because I completely forgot to pause my music for the interaction. 'Guys my age don't know how to touch me. Don't know how to love me good. Guys my age don't know how to keep me.' I smacked my face with my hand realizing this was the second time the chorus had come on and he saw smirking at me listening to my music.

"Here you go," he said returning with my drinks, again leaning over as he handed them to me.

"Thank you," I said grabbing them and setting them into the cup holders, "I appreciate it."

As I was about to drive off he spoke again, "Loved the music," he slightly stuck his tongue through his parted lips adding, "number's on the coffee if you want it."

Before I could say anything back he closed the window leaving me flustered. I brushed my hair out of my face and just drove off not knowing how to feel. Once I had made it back to the neighborhood, I pulled out front of Ruby's house and grabbed my coffee. Written in sharpie on the cup itself, not even the sleeve, was a phone number and a name. Tyler. I mentally passed away. He wasn't messing with me, he actually wrote his number. I'm dead. I checked the time on my dash to see it was now around the time that Ruby and Oliver would be coming out of their house. I checked my music to make sure nothing scandalous was going to be coming on. After a few minutes they finally walked from their house and headed to my truck.

Ruby got in first sliding into the back seat,"morning,"she grumbled.

"That's how you greet your saving grace?"I joked holding up her strawberry frappachino I got her.

"Oh. My. God!" she squealed reaching her hands out for the drink,"I love you!"

"I know,"I grinned back as Oliver got in,"Good morning."
