Alice could feel the tension as she sat at the dining table with her new alliances, as if feeling uncomfortable too Cato squeezed her hand under the table. ''So what score do you think you'll get?'' Enobaria asked Alice and Peeta who had just sat down, ''Honestly i don't know depends on whether Seneca Crane is on his man period or not'' she remarked making Clove let out a laugh which she tried to disguise as a cough. ''It was very foolish of you Alice'' Effie scolded picking at her food ''Now they're going to take it out on u-'' Haymitch cut her off as he stumbled on into the room.
''Take it out on us?'' he laughed '' Nice shooting, sweetheart. Wh-what did they do when you...shot the apple?'' he asked her nursing a fresh glass of whiskey. ''They looked pretty startled and scared, who knew Seneca Crane was a pussy'' she smirked and he laughed,'' Oh?Now, what did you say, "thanks for..."? ''Your consideration'' Haymitch barked out a laugh which made the rest of them start to chuckle too. ''What about manners Haymitch what about that?'' Effie snapped but Haymitch just smirked ''They just want a good show so just have a drink, loosen your corset and chill the fuck out'' Effie just scoffed.
''Your a motherfucking genius'' Haymitch said to Alice which made her smile, ''I would've given anything to see it'' ''Yes it was very impressive sweetheart'' Brutus said and she looked surprised as he beamed at her. ''Yes, Yes now turn on the tv its about to start'' Enobaria said.
They turned on the tv to see Caesar Flickermann smiling at them ''As you know, the Tributes were rated on a scale of 1 to 12 after three days of careful evaluation. The Gamemakers would like to acknowledge...From District 1, Marvel, with a score of 9. Cato, with a score of 10.'' Cato smirked proud and Alice gave him a proud smile, Clove cheered . ''Clove, with a score of 10.'' Clove cheered and engulfed Alice, Cato and Peeta in a group hug.
'' From District 3... From District 4, with a score of... From District 7... From District 8... And Rue, with a score of 7... From District 12..... Peeta Mellark, with a score of 8.'' Peeta shrugged but Clove still cheered again. ''And now Alice Everdeen with a score of......''
