Mothra's eyes were half-lidded, and her body was sore but it was an improvement from the burning pain earlier. She had a face of disappointment as she sensed the surge of power from Gojiran and for a split second she thought her partner killed Battra until she sensed her counterpart was still going, and sighed in relief. She squirmed in her seat and nudged against Miyarabi, who had fallen asleep, and got herself comfortable as she waited for Gojiran to get back. As for the beast, her antennae weren't able to detect it, and though she doubted Battra had managed to strike it down, as seemingly nothing could from its growing strength.
She sighed and wondered whether to get comfortable or be ready to get out.

Under the Earth's crust, Godzilla swam in the magma as though it were the ocean; if it had more pressure than any trench, and heat over a thousand degrees Fahrenheit. The heat was no issue; it would take more than that to burn him, as even at his inception, he survived greater heat from the nuclear bomb that irradiated him. But this did give him a moment of peace, even if he only got it from conflict. He let the flow take him for a bit, whenever he wanted to go somewhere, he would just turn that way. Above him, the most heat-resistant of materials made a roof over his head; a touch miles upon miles thick, and never before - even once - had he been able to break through it with just his physical strength. He had to give credit to those ladies; for as strong as he was, they had made him go beyond his limits, which only a few rare occasions monsters had. But while he could try to do it again, he would need to fight the pressure of the continent within his own hands, and he could just save himself the strife and find an opening of some kind; like a volcano. His senses told him wasn't too far away, and that was his ultimate goal anyway; reach the volcano, swim up it, and emerge again to continue the battle with Battra.

As for the dark moth, for now, she seemed a place of refuge. For all the energy she got from Gojiran that sped up her maturity, it did some damage. Plus, she was annoyed about being punted around like a football. Her base for now was an abandoned kaiju den, the resident inside seemingly perished some time ago as it was little less than bones. Like decorations, she strung up webs that glowed a hit orange across the place, down passageways; extensions of herself and her touch. Like a tarantula, she would wait and see what would stir her, and then strike at the next chance. Seeing as she had free time to think, her mind went back to Mothra and what she'd said. Another thing she could think of was a plan. Individually, Battra could subdue any one of the Kaiju Girls, save for Gojiran, with only that monster they somehow domesticated into a pet being able to withstand back-to-back shots of her horn lightning, even tanking one to the gut. With it still underneath the Earth, her only hope would be to reach the imago stage before it got back to the surface and wipe out everyone else.
Except Mothra. That time imprisoned gave her some retrospective. Neither of them remembered hatching for the first time as larvae, the reveal they could be reborn by laying an egg came as a surprise when Battra herself, while she and Mothra were still close, sacrificed herself.
Their oldest shared memory was waking up one day, and standing before each other as if they had just materialized there. Neither took the time to look back, even as they read ancient scripts and folktales of their people and their unique ability with their souls; being able to transfer it to be reborn, to divide it, and sometimes in an act of self-sacrifice, they could burn it for greater power, just to name a few.

Battra had come to realize what she and Mothra were, and she wanted to fix that. But for now, they stood opposite of one another in conflict. This goal would need to wait to be fulfilled.

Sorry for this to be so underwhelming, and short. But, I need to re-find my motivation. Besides, this does set up some stuff in the future, even if it ain't too close. Get excited, cause with what I'm brewing up, it should excite you.
