Chapter 5: All four

Emma's POV
"You know, Jessica has been in that bathroom for a while..." Emma comments, worried about her.

Emma was slightly suspicious of Jessica, she couldn't read her thoughts, and didn't know where she came from. She couldn't shake the feeling that this was a coincidence.

"I'm gonna check on her," she told Olivia and Alice, who nodded in response. They were both on the verge of sleep, and probably didn't understand what she said.

Emma left the room, and walked down the hall to the bathroom. Her footsteps echoed in the halls, because everyone was in their rooms, probably sleeping or being lazy. Stupid rain, she thought.

She pushed open the bathroom door, to see Jessica standing by the sink, griping it with a death grip. Her fingers were white and her black hair was messed up on top of her head, like she had rubbed it on a balloon.

"Jess?" Emma whispered.  Jessica stopped gripping the sink and her hair went back to being flat on her back. Jessica turned towards her.

Emma gasped, because Jessica looked like she had been sobbing. There was blood running down her face from a cut on her forehead, and it was all over her clothes.

"What happened to you!" Emma gasped, rushing towards her.

"Get away from me!" Jessica yelled, "You're not safe with me!"

"I won't go," Emma insisted.

She helped Jess clean up the blood, and led her back to the room so she could change. Luckily, Alice and Olivia were asleep.

"What was that about?" Emma asked.

"I just get... Really angry sometimes and it's hard to control..." Jessica explains quietly.

"It's ok Jess, we can help you," Emma reassures with a smile.

Jessica just smiles at her.

Olivia's POV

When Olivia woke up, it was to the ringing dinner bells. She felt groggy, and at first dint realize what it was. When her head finally cleared, she sat up quickly.

"Oh my gosh! Guys! Get up, get up, get up!" She yells.

Everyone sat up quickly, and at first complained, but then realized what was happening.

They all shared a look and ran into the dining room, luckily, they were right on time. The headmaster would kill them if they had been late, Olivia thought.

They all went out the back to eat, but some other girls followed. Olivia thought this was strange, but Emma, Alice, and Jessica all sat down where they usually did, so Olivia followed their lead.

At least, until the girls sat right by them. Emma glared at them, but the girls were unfazed.

One of them, who looked almost like the leader of the group, turned to Olivia.

"It's pretty neat out here," she said.

"Me? Oh.... Um, yeah. I guess? I don't know!" Olivia stuttered. Emma clenched her teeth together.

The other girl saw this and sneered, "Oh! Emma! I haven't talked to you in a while! I wonder why that may be?"

"Because you're a b-" Emma started.

"Oh, we wouldn't want the headmaster knowing that you would dare to swear at someone would we?" The girl taunted, "come on girls we don't have time for these losers!"

They all got up and left, leaving Emma shaking and clenching her teeth. Olivia, watched them leave, wondering about her past with Emma.

Alice's POV

Alive sat up in bed, reading her favorite book. It was worn and had tears and bent corners. She was using a candle by her bed to read the words.

Alice looked up from the book to look at her friends. Who knew I could be so happy here? She thought sleepily.

She blew out the candle, and got into her covers. She fell asleep to the pitter patter of rain on the window.

It was a Saturday, so they were allowed to sleep in and the dining room was filled up with cereal, fruit, chips, and other various snacks. It was actually the only day that the food was actually good.

Alice got up around ten, and everyone else was still sleeping. Well, except for Olivia, who looked like she had been up for a while.

"Hey Liv," Alice yawned, stretching.

Olivia flinched, but then she turned to smile at Alice. Olivia motioned for Alice to come onto her bed.

Alice went over, and Olivia whispered, "Let's go get some food from the dining room, and surprise them when they wake up."

Alice nodded and put a sweater on, it was a chilly fall morning, and the rain still hadn't stopped.

They left the room and walked into the dining room in silence until Olivia suddenly said, "I really appreciate your friendship. I honestly don't know what I would do without you."

Alice was surprised by her sudden outburst, and couldn't find any words, so she just nodded and smiled. Olivia seemed happy with this response and moved onto another topic.

"So... What should we bring them?" Olivia asks.

They both pick up a ton of snacks, and head back to the room, where their friends were.

Jessica's POV

Jessica woke up to the whispers and giggles of her friends, but otherwise silence. Jessica sat up quickly.

"Did the rain stop?" She said excitedly.

"Yup, we were waiting for you to go with us outside," Olivia says with a laugh.

"I can finally leave," Jessica mumbles under her breath.

"Wait, what?" Emma says, confused. Jessica knew she had heard. Dang it, does that girl have super hearing too? Jessica thought.

She was surprised when Emma didn't answer to her thoughts. Emma always answers their thoughts, it made them all crazy.

Emma just stood there and said, "Well? What do you mean?"

The other girls were staring between Jessica and Emma, Jessica, Emma, until Jessica cleared her throat.

"I wasn't meant to stay here long, and I have to get back," Jessica stated, unfeeling.

They stared at her in shock, not even knowing how they could respond.

"Well, thanks I guess... Bye..." Jessica says awkwardly before she teleports away.

SORRY this is sort of a filler chapter but.... I promise a better one next time!

This ones longer so... That makes up for last chapter?
