Chapter 15: All Four

Emma's POV

Jessica had gotten them a motel nearby, and all the girls were night same room.

Emma lay awake, a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.

She was confused as to how Jessica had all of these connections.

It almost scared her. The thing that scares her the most was that she could never read Jessica's mind.

It was impossible, and she tried countless times.

It had to be something to do with her power, She thought, looking over at Jessica's sleeping form.

She was tossing and turning, muttering to herself.

Emma sighed, deciding to fall asleep.

Olivia's POV

"Hello, and welcome to your worst nightmare!" An announcer said, the noise echoing around the white room.

Olivia looked around, seeing her friends 'waking' up around her.

Her breath hitched, not believing what was happening.

They were all in a dream.

"Don't be afraid, you'll all be put out of your misery soon," the voice cackles.

"Daddy, come out!" Jessica pouts.

Olivia gives her a strange look, and Jessica just smirks evilly at her.

Emma, Alice, and Olivia all back away from Jessica, just as a figure... Transports into the room.

Olivia gasps, remembering for the first time the night they were taken.

He snaps his fingers, and suddenly they are all frozen in the air.

Except for Jessica, who stands closer to the masked figure.

"Daddy, take me out of here, she's exhausting," Jessica sighs.

He frowns and replies, "Not now, Darling."

Olivia was still frozen along with Emma and Alice, feeling more terrified than she had ever been.

"So, what brought you here, you ask? I'm just going to be explaining some things and having a nice little chat before I have to... Dispose of you," he starts.

Alice's POV

Alice couldn't do anything, she stood helplessly as he continued talking.

"So let's start with this; why are you here? Well, it's a very simple question. You are here so that I can warn you about a few things that are going to be happening. London is such a pretty place. What a good place to start our world domination. I've always loved the Big Ben, too. Let's just say that by the time that clock reaches 12am, I will be releasing all of the clones. These clone shave been genetically modified , using your DNA, to have super powers. For now, I just have four copies of each of you guarding the clock. There is only one way to defeat them. Mostly because they run off of you. They get their powers from you, and everything! I'll have to thank Sydney here for telling us your location. Oh! And don't forget Jessica, for betraying you the first time so I could make the very first copies of you. She was trying to regain my trust, but sadly, it didn't work. You see, I made Jessica. She is my work of art, the one thing I'm proud of. She is made of pixels. Straight out of a computer, she is supposed to be modified so that whenever she gets too close to someone, they... Die, to put it harshly. Her eyes turn purple, and she becomes a monster. A beautiful thing, really. But, there were glitches. She started to feel... Compassion and love for the first time around you guys. I could not let this happen, so I had another, more ruthless girl take her place. Sydney has no compassion or love, and I do not suggest looking into her eyes at all. Jessica has been trapped inside her, contained, like a good little pixel girl. You'll most likely never see her again, after I unplug her computer of course. The same computer that happens to be in your 'secret hideout.' The computer itself had been shut down and blocked by Jessica for years, so that I had no chance of opening it. Until Emma came along and had the powers to figure it out. The first password it the one I made myself. Abbreviated, it reads EVIL-" His shocking explanation was cut off by a confident Emma.

"You mean ElectroVileInstallLazers?" She yells, her voice wavering.

Alice looked over at her with a panicked expression.

"Yes?" The masked guy responded impatiently.

"That's a stupid name. It doesn't even make sense," Emma continued, shocking Alice.

"Excuse me?" He asks, confused.

"The password itself is EVIL, but what the heck is electro vile install lasers? You couldn't think of anything? Is that what happened?"

"Why you little-" he was interrupted by Emma breaking through her frozen state, to push him backwards onto the ground.

Jessica's POV

I struggled under Sydney's influence, trying to break free.

It's no use, Sydney thinks at her.

I ignore her and keep testing Sydney's powers, trying to get out of her head.

It's funny, he loves me more than you. She taunts.

Like I care about the love of someone who has no heart. Jessica responds sourly.

You used to care. She replies, feeling smug.

Yeah, right. Jessica responds evasively.

He told me everything about you, just so that I know for the future. She chuckles.

You don't know anything about me. Jessica snaps.

I know that you tried so hard to get him to love you that you turned in your own friends. I know how upset you were when he just brushed you off.
I saw the terror in your eyes the night that I saved you all from being adopted, as I took you over.

Jessica struggled, but she knew she was right. She was better than Jessica in every way, and Jessica couldn't deny her heart it's newfound feelings.

At least I have feelings. I yell at her.

You say that like its a good thing. Feelings led everyone to demise. Feelings lead to heartbreak and war. Feelings lead to everything wrong with this world. She quickly responds, and Jessica couldn't take it anymore.

Is that what you think? Because if that's what he's been telling you, then you're far off. You know as well as I do that you also want him to accept you. I know you have feelings in there somewhere. You cared enough about him to not kill him when he looks into your eyes. Jessica finally retaliates, snapping.

She falters, and let's down her guard for a second. Jessica uses this split second to escape, leaving her gasping on the floor.

So there it is. An explanation to everything I've done so far. Now you get it, don't you? This is why that chapter where they were taken was the most important one.

I hope you weren't too bored by the long explanation, but it had to be done.
