Alice and her friends dragged themselves into the dining room for dinner. Alice knew they were all exhausted from last night's robbery.
They grabbed their food to go outside, and almost missed the T.V. turn on inside. The T.V. never turned on. Except for breaking news, of course.
Alice perked up when she heard the sound of the T.V. and rushed towards it. The whole orphanage watched as the news reporter started his show.
"Yeah, the police got a call around four a.m. that said a blank robbery had been committed, John," the first reporter said, "But when the police got there, the villains were already tied up!"
"It's crazy, Mark! And the craziest part is that there was a note left there at the crime scene. Luckily, the police let us have it for our show! It says, 'courtesy of the super four.'" The second reporter, John continued.
"Now, I don't know if I believe in super heroes, but we might actually have some right here in our town!" Mark replies excitedly, "Well that's all from us for today, folks, keep a lookout for superheroes!"
The T.V. switched to a video of the confused robbers.
"No, I swear! They just teleported away!" The first robber yelled at the camera.
"Yeah, and we closed the door behind us so nobody could get in, and they somehow got in!" The second robber said dumbly.
The first robber reached
The T.V. clicked off, leaving everyone in a buzz. Alice rushed outside with her friends, already feeling more awake.
"Oh my gosh! Guys! That was awesome!" Alice yelled excitedly.
"Wow we stayed up late," Jessica yawned.
"You aren't excited about this?" Emma asks Jessica, confused.
"Yeah, but I kind of realized this would happen? That's why I left the note, for us to get recognized!" Jessica says, perking up a little.
"Yeah, she's right," Alice adds, "We should have known this would happen."
Alice didn't know whether to be happy about her new fame or not. Mostly, she didn't want anybody to find out it was them.

During the free time after lunch, Alice decided to take a nap. She figured she needed the extra hours.
She saw Jessica leave the room, probably going to get some alone time. Emma and Olivia were fighting over the softest bed, so Alice decided to just settle for the less comfortable one, to not join in on the fighting.
Alice closed her eyes, but didn't get to stay asleep for even a second before Jessica barges into the room.
"Go put on your suits, girls!" She says, as wide awake as ever.
"Ugh, not now," Emma complained, she had finally won over the softest bed.
"Chop, chop we don't have all day!" Jessica chirps happily.
Alice rolls out of bed, landing with a bump on the floor. She sluggishly gets her suit on as Jessica locks the door.
When everyone had their suit on Jessica unlocked the door and teleported them away to what looked like a control room.
Alice walked around slowly, passing her hands over to old, rusty buttons. The whole room had a coating of dust, like it hadn't been used in a while.
"Okay, guys! Meet our new hideout!" Jessica says, surveying the room with a smile.
"What?" Emma says, almost speechless.
