Today,  Alexa is hosting the Christmas luncheon at their home. The hangar was finished three weeks ago.
Alexa, thank you for inviting me to this."
" I figured if Cindy had you at the Christmas Eve day party carnival. You behaved well and helped clean up without complaining. I should invite you to this.  Don't get drunk and hit on anyone, especially Julia.  If you do, I have no problem kicking you out of here."

She asked me if she could hug me. I told her yes.  She hugged me.  She walked away to put her box of presents done. The  food was ready that Julia, myself, Alice,  Tim, and Jake made for over 250 people. Jake counted everyone and told us 200 people showed up.  We had an enclosed tent with heat a few Christmas trees and round tables with chairs for people to sit. Each table had a glass cylinder with red and green led lights in it  with poinsettia in white with gold foil plantar around the cylinder.   Julia's cousin, Michael, and his wife, Blair, would be dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus in a sleigh in the tent to take photos with like they did like yesterday.
We all made beef tamales with dark chili sauce, pinto beans smashed with bacon pieces in it, and Spanish rice with a green salad.  People had the choices of being served beer, egg nog, margaritas, and ice tea.  Each table had green table clothes with  red napkins with white plates with poinsettia  edging. Crystal glassware.   After the presents were opened and the place cleaned up, we hired Julia's nephew to be the DJ during the casino and the luncheon.  Each person was given a five hundred dollar chip to play with. Only gifts would be the prizes in the form of a gift card from Walmart, Costco, Target,  Barnes and Noble, and Amazon.

Alexa had my brother,  Paul, to say the blessing. Paul mentioned all the people who died this year. Several of us held back tears. I knew Julia would always have feelings for her. She even discussed this with me when she found out her family had her hurt and the others. I totally understood it.  I don't have my parents and other loved ones.  I may not always seem eye to eye but still miss them.  Julia,  Jaime, Cindy, James,  Larry, Jane, and Rebecca went with us to celebrate the Day of the Dead at our loved ones' grave site. We brought photos of us as a family, wedding photos, and baby photos. We all sat on a blanket and had a picnic celebrating our loved ones. 
I digressed just recalling that day when Paul included our decreased love ones.

I noticed Alexa mind was elsewhere, so I thanked everyone for being here for the luncheon and donating funds to the children's and women shelters.
" Cindy, please stand up and state after all bills were paid. How much the carnival brought in food boxes and warm clothing donated by local department stores for the homeless people in our city. "  " Thank you, Julia, for giving me the opportunity to tell you all. We cleared over $ 73, 456.25 . It was the biggest donation our city has ever raised. I appreciated everyone who volunteered  their time via committee, seeking sponsorships, and donating funds so we could announce it on  local networks TV stations and the radio stations. Without you all and more who are not here, it was a huge success.  The mayor gave me the key to the city. I, in turn, gave it to St. Michael's Catholic church. Many of the priests,  nuns, and parishioners came out to help us run it."

Cindy sat down. We were eating and drinking bevrages.  Isaiah was playing music for us to listen and to dance.   We were now opening gifts. We all opened them at the same time. Alexa bought me a painting, and I bought her an infinity vehicle for Christmas.

" My tia and Alexa have given everyone a 500 dollar poker chip to play the games. These can not be used as real money. When you win, please come up here. My father and mother will give you a gift card. Please don't drink in excess. We all had to sign a release of liability for us to drink alcohol. Merry Christmas to all."

Many enjoyed their gifts. People were having fun gambling and dancing.   At the end of the afternoon, around 4. Everyone was given a basket with baked cookies, fudge, and egg nog.  Alexa asked everyone to take a poinsettia. Any not taken would be taken to a convalescent home as well as desserts and untouched food and alcohol free beverages.  Blair and Michael took a lot of photos with us all like they did yesterday. Tomorrow, all the rental items will be picked up. Cindy and Alice would make sure of it. Julia and I were leaving for Spain in a few hours for two weeks. We would be celebrating
the new years in another country. I booked us first class seats. We were having a town car to pick us up. Everyone was gone with the excess food, etcetera items.

We went inside with our gifts. Alexa locked the French door with the door gadget to prevent someone from coming in. I turned the alarm on . We took the front elevator to our upstairs. We both took our pills with colloidal silver.  Since I started taking colloidal silver, I had less colds and infections.  We got undressed and got into bed with our matching green lacy bra and panties that Alice bought us. We got under the covers.  We both laid our heads on the pillows and fell asleep.
