36 Epilogue

Jaime and I go to her office upstairs.  I use her personal bathroom.  When I get out, she kisses me passionately. 

" WHY DID YOU DO THAT? I AM IN LOVE WITH JULIA. WE HAD OUR TIME AND YOU FUCKED IT UP WITH YOUR EMPLOYEE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. I KNEW YOU WERE FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. "  " ALEXA. I FUCKED UP AND OWN THAT. YOU TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME WHEN YOU CALLED ME. I JUST THOUGHT YOU DID. I AM SORRY FOR ASSUMING. PLEASE FORGIVE ME. YOU STILL HAVE A GOOS RIGHT.  YOU HAVE BEEN PRACTICING FOR SURE ON THE PUNCHING BAG. I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE A BRUISE."
" JAIME, I DIDN'T MEAN IT AS YOU INTERPRETTED IT.  I APOLOGIZE IF YOU MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT I STATED TO YOU. YES YOU FUCKED UP OUR MARRIAGE.  THE DAY I KNEW IT WAS OVER WITH IS WHEN JULIA AND I HAD COITUS."  " YOU CHEATED ON ME TOO. YOU WERE NO BETTER THAN ME EXCEPT I DID MANY TIMES OVER WITH."

Alexa calls for an Uber driver to get her. She tells me goodbye. We both go downstairs and wait for the driver.  I apologize to her again. She leaves. The first delivery arrives.  Eventually, they all arrived.  I dropped off all the checks to the doctors at their business since they were open for business.  I was now going to be open 7 days a week and for 24 hours.  I knew my business would do well. This former veterinarian was well known and liked. I turned off the lights, turned off the sign outside,  turned on the alarm, and locked the door. I didn't feel like cooking. I drove through Jack in the Box and ordered a sour dough chicken sandwich combo with orange soda.

I picked up our Thai food, and Uber dropped me off.
Julia opens the door and asks me what happened.  I told her Jaime kissed me when I got out of the bathroom, our responses and conversations. We are eating food with a glass of lemonade.

" Alexa, I am not mad and it was understandable she mixed the signals up. You did tell her you loved her. I know you still have feelings for her like I will always have for Cindy.  We went through  a lot when we dated and throughout our marriage. Just like you two did."  "Thank you for understanding. I should of called you to get me. I just needed to get away as soon as I could. "

We finished out food and beer. We tossed everything in the recycle bin.  Alexa took everything out to the trash. I took thr recycle items and threw them in the trash. Lightening and thunder was happening.  We ran inside our warm home. We put new liners in the bins. We washed and dried our hands. We went upstairs to do our nightly routine and got ready for bed.
We are now in bed reading two new books. We are getting  tired and fall asleep.

In the Cabrera home... I am done with my dinner and took my recycle and garbage to the two containers.  I came in and washed then dried my hands. I relined the two containers. I called Cindy and told her what I had done. She told me she understood why I thought what I did. She asks me how my face looked. I told her I had her right hand print on my face.  I used icepack when I got home. The sting was gone.  She stated just move forward.  We said goodnight.  I placed my cellphone to my charger on my nightstand and removed my guns and placed them on the same nightstand.  I got a change of clothes and took a quick but hot shower.  I was done and in bed already.  I stayed awake tossing and turning until around 1ish.

Julia woke up crying again. I did the same as always. This time I removed both of our clothes and ate her out.  We kissed for a while and fell asleep.

In the Ruiz home,  I  called an ex of mine and had phone sex until we were both satisfied and said goodnight.  I slept well that night, dreaming about Sophie, Silvia,  Lisa, and Julia.
