I ate at Maria and James home after the three of us went riding.  We rode and came back as it started raining.  They asked me how the clinics were doing. I tell them quite well. I asked how their accounting firm was doing? They tell me busy. They asked me if they were aware of Alexa owning up another accounting firm across the street from theirs. I told them know.  Maria tells them some of their employees have interviews and the pay is much higher. I ask them if they could increase their wages. James said no. I felt bad because Julia and I did that to some of our competitors.

" Question, would you two be interested in me becoming a silent partner? This way you can speak to them with higher wages.  Hopefully, they will stay with you two. If you are interested,  I will gicd you a check for this amount.  One of you can get and get it tonight.  I will have my lawyer to fax you a contract to sign. No pressure."

They look at one another say, yes. I immediately call my lawyer and tell him their company name.  James writes down the fax number. I tell my lawyer this. He asks me how much. I tell him . He says he will have a courier to come with it. He prefer hard signatures than a fax one.  I give them their address.  They are looking at me why. I ended the call and tell them why. They hug me and thank me. I know Alexa won't be happy but business is business. Who says their employees would be hired by Alexa's accounting firm.  We finish dinner.  I tell them I am leaving and if one of them will bring the contract for me to sign with the courier,  I would have a check written.  James said he would.  I thank them for dinner and leave.  I get into the golf cart and make my way to home. I go home and go inside. I write a check and go take a hot shower before James and the courier arrives for me to sign the documents. My body feels good.  I no longer have a headache. I shower and get into my pajamas with my robe and slippers on. I do my nightly return. I exited the bathroom and bedroom and walked downstairs to answer my door.

" Please come in. Here is your check as  promised. Good luck on keeping them."

He tells me thank you. I sign and date it in all the places and initial in some areas on it where my lawyer has post it tabs on it. I hand the contract to him.  He places it in a new envelope and seals it. They both say goodbye.  They leave and I secure my home and make my way up to my bedroom to get much needed sleep.

In Spain... we are now in bed reading a book from Amazon that Alexa had ordered. Our dinner and dessert was delicious. We have already did our nightly routine. Alexa sprayed the suite in the main room before we came to bed. We are almost done with this book. We both turned off the lights on our night stands. We get comfortable with my head on Julia's abs. We promised no more hickeys.   We fall asleep.
