7 On the way to Mexico

Several hours passed... We are on the plane to Mexico to bury their parents . The army would be there tomorrow to give their parents a military send-off. We would wait for them in the hotel. We told them two body guards would be going with them at all times.

" You guys my family is the cartel in Mexico. Jaime and I won't need the body guards. This is something my parents finally told Jaime and her family on a trip we all went on. I am not fond of them, but they are my family. They keep a distance from us when we are in Mexico but keep us safe. My family never has taken a cent from them like others in my family."

Our four body guards and us four were shocked.

"Silvia and I are going to go take a nap. I am disappointed in you Alexa for not trusting me. "

We walked away.

" Cindy do you feel the same way?"
" All these years we have helped you and your families and be honest with you all. It seems you two and your parents never had enough respect nor trusted Julia and I to keep your secret. Yes, I am disappointed in you both. Just give Julia and I time to digest all of what you told us Alexa. Please give us respect as we have always respected you and yours. We have the hotel booked for us and they are paid for two nights. We Will leave after breakfast and still go camping like you asked of us. Come on Sophie let's go to our cabin. Men you stay here and relax."

Sophie and I left to our cabin.

" Jaime,  I  should of told them sooner.  The look they all gave  me didn't hurt as much as Cindy and Julia's. If I could go back in time, I would and go against my parents wishes. I FUCKED UP ROYALLY. THEY HAVE DONE SO MUCH FOR US AND OUR FAMILIES WHEN WE WERE DOWN AND OUT."
"Alexa, please give them time. With us going camping maybe a good thing or I hope it is. We just need to get over this is all.  It won't be easy. When you all told me and my parents,  it took time to get over it but it happened.  We cannot choose are family nor control what they do with their lives. They will hopefully see that. "

Alexa and I looked at parents urns. We poured ourselves some whisky and downed it. We than walked to our cabin.

" Julia,  she was a child following her parents rules.  You can't blame her. She was keeping the promise she made to her parents. She didn't respect you on purpose."  " Silvia,  Cindy and I did so much for all of them when not one of their family members stood up to help them. My wife and I did. We love them as famiiy." 

Silvia placed her arme around my waste in the bathroom and brought me closer to her.

" Julia they still are your family maybe not by blood. Alexa sees you as her second mother. Please remember that.  Yes, you two are hurting rightfully so. As a child, you obey your parents or consequences will occur. "

My wife was right. I finished brushing my teeth and rinsing it out.

" Silvia,  I will be back later.  I need to talk to then privately after I speak to Cindy so hopefully she will come with me to talk to them. Thanks for telling me what you told me. "  "Any time you need a sounding board,  I am here for you. "

We kissed before I left to speak with Cindy, preferably alone. As I get closer,  I can hear Sophie talking to Cindy and basically saying the same thing Silvia told Mr. I knocked on their door and Sophie opened it up.

" Come in and you to fix this with them. She only did what her parents told her. This could of been difficult for her. Please take my wife and go speak with them,  NOW!"

Sophie kisses Cindy and we leave. We walked to the main portion of the plane. They weren't there. We left and made our way to their cabin. As we got closure,  we could hear someone crying.  Cindy knocks on their door and tells them it's Cindy and I. Jaime opens the door. Alexa is still crying. We enter the cabin.  Julia walks up to Alexa and hugs her.

" Jaime let's go upstairs and talk. They will be okay."

Jaime looks at her wife and Alexa nods because she is still crying. We leave.

" Sweetie,  let's sit down and talk."

I got tissues and handed them to hee so she could blow her nose and wipe her tears. We sat on the edge of the bed.

" Sweetie, Silvia was real with me. She stated she understands why I was hurt but knows if it was up to you alone.  You probably would of told me.  You were obeying your parents."

Alexa is nodding.

" I am sorry for upsetting you. I still feel you should of trusted Cindy and I.  We can't control our family members choices. I still love you and you two are still members of our families. " 

She was getting her composure before she said anything.  I held both of her hands and kissed her left cheek.

" Julia,  I asked them several time but it was always no. They are relatives on my father side. My mom told me she and her family bad difficulty  accepting my father after he told them.  They eventually came around. I love you and you are my only parent I left. Please forgive me."

I placed my hands on both side of her face and begin to speak.

" Sweetie,I  do it hurt me and Cindy hearing someone crying.  It hurt me knowing it was you. I do forgive you sweetie. "

I removed my hands after I kissed her cheek again.  She hugged me. She got up to get a bottle of her water and drank it all. She tosses it in the trash and removed her sandals.

" Julia please lay next to me like you use too."
I remove my heels and laid down with her. She laid on her side holding onto me.  We talked more and fell asleep.
