I sat in my car with tears streaming down my face. Me and my husband just gotten into a huge arguement over the bills.
The lights have been turned off and neither of us have the money to pay it. I was getting frustrated with something always getting turned off in my house. If it wasn't the water then it was the lights. I'm tired of this bullshit!
I looked back at my at my six month old daughter. It was in the middle of December. No lights meant no heat and I couldn't have my baby in the cold. I drove to my mom's house because I know she'll be more than happy to have her grand baby with her.
It was a 20 minute drive to her house since she lived on the other side of town. I had no way to call her since Damon's stupid ass left with the only phone we had.
I pulled up to her driveway and honked the horn. It was about 6:30 in the evening so I know she just gotten home from work. I sighed and looked back at my daughter who was know awake and babbling about nothing in particular. I smiled at her because she was my pride and joy.
I got her car seat out along with her diaper bag and made my way towards the house. My mom opened the door before I could even knock.
