11. Date Disaster

I looked at myself in the mirror and pleased with my appearance. I had on a black skirt that hugged by body tightly and a white crop top. I had some black red bottoms that went perfectly with the skirt. My hair, done by the wonderful Julio, was bone straight down my back. I added red lipstick and a little mascara to top it off. I don't do make up like that but, you can never go wrong with mascara.

I turned to look at Paradise who looked like she could pass out at any minutes. My girl was so nervous about this double date, it was just so cute.

Julio curled Paradise's hair to perfect along with her make up. She had on a yellow fitted dress that stop right above her knees. She also had on some red bottoms. My best friend was bad, I just wish she knew how beautiful she really is.

"Ahhhh. Y'all bitches are killing it tonight! " Julio screamed like we wasn't right next to him. I loved how him and Paradise were able to hit it off and become good friends. She still hasn't open up to us completely since our last talk but, its a start.

"Stacy I don't know if I could do this. What if he gets bored with me?" I rolled my eyes because Paradise can be so dramatic at times.

"Girl shut up. Y'all been talking for over a month now, has I gotten bored with you yet?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"No" she said quietly.

"Alrighty then. We're doing this double date and we're going to have fun." I gave her a reassuring smile and she returned it.

I know Paradise has some insecurities about herself. She feels that guys only look at her because she has big boobs and will take advantage of her, but as long as im her Bestfriend, I will never allow a guy to take advantage of her.

"I want to go see my granny before I leave. Just to make sure she's alright."

I eyed her suspiciously before speaking. "Girl you can go see her tomorrow. Jheri and Khalil are almost on their way."

"Stacy please it won't take long. I'll meet up with you guys after I'm done." She tried to reason.

"Ok but, Paradise please don't stand Khalil up. He's really looking forward to this date." Something inside of me was telling me that she was about to do just that.

"Stacy I swear I won't. Just tell him I'll be running a little late." I finally gave in. The only thing I could do was hope she makes the right decision.

"Y'all they outside right now in a nice ass limo. Pari girl you better not fuck this up." Julio told her sternly.

"Okay okay. Can y'all go now. I promise I will meet up with yall when I leave my granny's."

Me and Julio shared a look before leaving out my room. I opened the front door to see Jheri and Khalil with a bouquet of red roses that was meant for Paradise and I.

"Where's Paradise?" Khalil asked with I look of concern on his face.

"Uh she has to make quick stop somewhere but, she'll meet us there."

"Oh okay, well let's get going then" I could here the disappointment in his voice. I wanted to run upstairs and drag Paradise's scary ass down her but, I restrained myself from doing. I grabbed Jheri's hand as he led me towards the limo with Khalil following behind.

I just hope This date don't turn at to be a disaster.

Paradise

I was looking outside the window as The limo pulled off and so did Julio's car.

I was fighting a battle with myself. I really like Khalil and I wanted to go on the date but, I couldn't help but to think about the moment I was raped. Every since then my perception on guys has been nothing but negative which is why I haven't had a boyfriend at all. I was too scared.
