after finished watching the VHS tape the player uses their grabpack hands to pull off the lid of a large vent and move towards and
enters inside. they begin to descend down through the vents and exit the large vent dropping down on a crate. the player gets a better
look at where they are as it seems they're in a storage like area, most likely the factory's maintenance closet. the player gets startled
jumping back when a box falls off the platform revealing poppy.
POPPY: oh! uh, sorry! i didn't mean to scare you. i was just...trying to get the power back on! here.
*steps to the side revealing an electrical outlet.
CHARLIE MORNINGSTAR: aww, that was adorable, she doesn't seem hostile.
HUSK: huh...could've fooled me, gotta admit i almost felt my fur standing up.
NIFFTY: *gasps* her voice sounds pretty!
ALASTOR: ...almost like that of a child.
VAGGIE: we can't be sure if poppy's trying to help the player guys,
she might be using the player.
ANGEL DUST: oorr she might be trying to escape like the player, ever thought
of that toots?
vaggie simply rolled her eye but can't deny angel dust has a good point.
the player uses the electrical outlets with his grabpacks and wraps the conductive wire around the power nods and
uses it to receive power on their level. poppy applaudes the player who looks up to her feeling great when she
aplauded them.
POPPY: ahem. um, i wanted to thank you for freeing me. i was stuck in there for so long! thank you.
i'd like to pay you back! *walks into a vent next to her her voice heard through the vent's walls* there's
a train station nearby. it needs a code, and i have it we're gonna get out of here.
ANGEL DUST: hah! *smirks and crosses arms* i was right.
ADAM: can't blame that redhead, i would want to get out of crazy shithole factory,
i'd rather not get my head bitting off.
SERA: *raises eyebrow* did you just call the sentient doll a redhead, adam?
ADAM: well duh of course i did sera. she's literal redhead i mean, look at her hair.
it's red like a poppy.
SERA: *facepalms and groans* damnit adam...
poppy reappears in an opening next to the large vent, the player walks over seeing it. poppy
looks down at the player, they see a grapple handle above the large vent and get the idea
on how to get up.
POPPY: as soon as you...get on up here! Hmph!
the player uses a handle and grapples up rentering the large vent and moves up it back in elliot ludwig's office. the player
sees poppy has appeared in another vent with it's lid against the wall beneath her.
POPPY: hey, i'm up here! i see you...! *laughs* i should be able to follow you through the vents.
this way! *walks back through the vent she's in*
