GEORGE AND ROWAN kept that night on a down low. george had only told arthur, who he had to threaten him to keep it to himself— and quinn and molly— who rowan couldn't help but blabber to as soon as she found her way back to her own room.
but, rowan was sick of it. she didn't want them to not bring it up. she wanted to make sure george remembered this has even happened.
so, it was her mission to get absolutely battered this halloween night, and let her confidence 'accidentally' blurt it out.
she, stood with quinn and molly, downed a shot that had been mustered up by max balegde, claiming he was the master at making shots, though all he had to do was pour it into the small glasses.
rowan had been quick to point at the bottle again, asking for a refill almost immediately.
while quinn tried to calm rowan down, molly wandered off, in search for silas. he had said he would be there a few minutes earlier than them.
she skipped passed a few heads, and saw his bobbing up from the crowd. her smile grew as she made her way to him, through the mass amounts of people in one flat, not even taking a second to notice who was there.
she placed her hand on silas' back, letting him know she was there. he turned around, and her smile faltered slightly.
his face was full of blood.
"oh—" he cut her off.
"it's fake."
"yeah, i got that."
"then what's the 'oh' about?"
"it's just that— i thought we were going to be matching. like alice in wonderland and the mad hatter, you know?" she muttered quietly.
"yeah, well. i suppose i left it too late." he shrugged.
"right. but— you could of told me. i would've got you something."
