"Ishu, please apne Id card wagera Raj ko hi dena, Shubman ko nahi. Uss aadmi ka bas chale toh khud ka dimaag kahin bhool ke rakh dega", Virat warned Ishan

It was their wedding day. They had a very early morning appointment for their court wedding, after which the traditional celebrations would begin. Ishan was being accompanied by his brother, Raj and his bestie, Shubman, while Virat had his brother Vikas and his best friend, Rahul as witnesses.

"Abey, chumma chaati baad mein karo. Raj bhaiyya neeche wait kar rahe hai", Shubman shouted at Ishan. Ishan said bye to Virat and went downstairs.

Virat had arranged for their wedding to be registered even before the official timings began. They left the registration office long before it became crowded. Ishan was about to get into Virat's car when he was called back by Raj,"Ishu, tu humare sath wapas hotel aa raha hai. Virat ki gaadi mein kyu baith raha hai?", he asked.

"Par shadi ho gayi hai na, bhaiyya. Woh drop kar denge mujhe hotel mein", Ishan replied.

"Marwayega tu mujhe. Phere nahi hue abhi tak. Mummy ne specifically bola hai- directly wapas aane ko. Chalo", Raj instructed.

Virat saw his husband's cute pout and couldn't resist himself from kissing that pout away."Jao baccha. Just a few hours more till you are completely mine", said Virat.

The wedding was a simple, private event with close relatives, their teammates and some friends. They opted for a low key wedding, mainly to keep the media attention away. Neither of them wanted a vulgar display of their wealth on their most intimate day.

They took their phere together - neither taking lead, nor walking behind. It wasn't strictly a kanyadaan but, Ishan's held Virat's hands and told him,"Humari jaan aapke hawale kar rahe hai. Khayal rakhna iska".

"Jaan se bhi zyada pyaar karunga isko, Papa. Aap chintha mat karo", Virat had promised,

"Saroj ji, main jaanti hu ki bacche Mumbai jayenge. Par jab bhi aapke ghar aayega, uska dhyan rakhna please. Thoda natkhat hai abhi bhi- ghar ka baccha hai na. Usse koi galti ho jaye toh maaf kar dijiyega", Ishan's mother requested Virat's mom.

"Aap befikar hokar jaayiye, Suchitra ji. Ishan bhi mera beta hi hai ab. He will be treated like a king by my son", Virat's mom promised.

"King nahi queen", Virat murmurred.

"Aana aap raat ko, Ishu baby bolke", Ishan said, the little bite in his words hardly threatening.

As expected by Virat, his husband got hijacked by his family- the boy was too talkative and cute for his own good. "Poori raat bakwas karega aur ye log sunenge baithke", Virat said, just loud enough for his bhabhi to hear. "Arre, ye log thak gaye honge. Jake sone dete hai na", she said and winked at her devar.

Ishan reached their bedroom and Virat locked the door. Ishan had been in that room umpteen times- sometimes playing video games, sometimes watching a movie or sometimes just chatting with Virat. But this felt different - he knew their relationship had changed today and the expectations from him would be entirely different from what it was when he last visited. Virat noticed the discomfort on his husband's face.

"Kya hua hai, baccha? Why did you just stand there?", Virat asked.

"Woh mujhe thodi tension ho rahi hai", Ishan replied.

"Kis baat ki tension? Suhaag raat ki? Baby, we are not going to do anything today- in fact, we are not going to do "thaaat" till both of us are completely comfortable with each other. I know we have known each other for years now, but we haven't explored the physical aspect of our relation yet. We can take our time- talk and understand each other's expectations and boundaries and then go ahead when we both are ready", Virat reassured the boy.
