Introducing me and Cal

My phone rings at 9:00am. I roll over sleepily. Who the hell is calling at this time? I pick my phone up look at the screen and see 'Cal 🙈'.Could of guessed!
"Cal it's like still midnight?" I say jokingly.
"Beth, get up! I've been waiting ages! You said you'd be ready by half 8!" He says annoyed
"Oh shit sorry, let yourself in, mum and dad are at work." I say rolling back over in bed.
I hear Cal shut the front door and come up to bed.
Me and Calum have been friends since we were 1. Our parents were bestfriend's so I didn't care about him seeing me in bed with no make up on because he's seen me do worse.
He walks in and I prepare for the lecture.
He walks in and falls onto my bed beside me.
"Can you Atleast start getting ready? " he asks.
"Uh huh... Get my dress out for me then" I say with my face in the pillow.
"You are unbelievably lazy" he says looking at me getting up.
Our eyes catch each others and we stare in silence before one of us breaks it. This is what happens everytime we meet.
"Im sorry Cal you did only wake me up 5 minutes ago" I answer back, trying to get back into subject.
I get up wearing a big tshirt and pants with my hair in a bun.
"Wow someone looks gorgeous!" Cal jokes.
"Haha really funny now leave so I can get dresses please!" I say shoveing him out the door.
When I finally get downstairs he'd made me toast - a bit burnt but it was fine. I sat down opposite him.
"So what's the plan" I ask biting into my toast.
"Beach? We planned it last night you knob!" He answers.
"Well I wouldn't remember because someone kept encouraging me to do tequila shots" I laugh.
Half an hour later we're ready to go. I grab my bag and get into Calum's car. He has a convertible Audi- matte black with black wheels.
The weather is stunning so I have my sunglasses on. I notice he had Jesus of Suburbia by green day playing (it's our favourite ever song)
"I'm the son of rage and love" we both start singing! Giggling all the way to the beach.
"Is it alright if we meet the lads?" Cal asks turning the music down.
"What ones? Band ones or school ones?" I ask
"Band ones" he says
"Yeah that's fine them boys are awesome!" I laugh.
We pull up and I see the boys surfing in the sea. They notice us and get out and walk over to Calum's car.
"Goo'day guys!" Ashton says.
"Hi" I say smiling
"Calum we've been waiting forever bro what have you been doing? Fucking your girlfriend?" Luke says winking and laughing at me.
"Shut up luke you douche! She's clearly not my girlfriend and it's her fault she wouldn't get out of bed!" Calum argues.
"Yeah yeah Calum darling" Michael adds.
I roll my eyes and get out the car. I change my mind about them being awesome now! Me and cal are just friends, well I think Atleast until he looks into my eyes. I get so confused. When he's with his friends he's a prick but when it's just us two he's lovely? I don't understand it? It's not like I care? Well I kinda do but he could never find out! I mean it never would work if we "went out"...I don't think? Nope stay friends beth stay friends I tell myself.
We walk down to the beach. Cal gives me a piggy back as my shoes are rubbing. No doubt the boys will pick up on this.
"Awww Calum she has you wrapped buddy!" Luke says- it's almost as if Lukes jealous!
"Luke can you just shut the fuck up please?" I say kicking him from cals back.
"Luke I Swear you fancy her?" Michael says.
"He better not!" Cal snaps
"Why couldn't he" I say hinting for a sudden love proposal from Calum but instead...
"Because you're like a sister? I mean like that's wrong my friend fancying my sister? " he says clearly making up a load of bull shit. I laugh jumping off his back.
"Yeah okay then" Ashton laughs.
What could this mean?
First chapter! Hope you like it! Any ideas comment for the future chapters! So it's quite confusing this chapter but basically- it's obvious luke fancies beth, but what does Calum think of this? It's up to you to decide 😊
