Stanley was sound asleep when I got up

Stanley was sound asleep when I got up. He hasn't been feeling well for the past two weeks, which worries me since I'm leaving to go train for the army this coming week. I don't want to leave him by himself if he's still throwing up and not feeling very well. Stanley said he was going to be fine, and he said he probably would stay in bed or the bathroom near the toilet.

I was going to call his brother, Robert to see if he could stay a day or two with him while I see if our friend, Fawn wanted to come in and check on him while I'm gone. I don't know what to do.

The main concern I have is Stanley being so sick and there was nothing I can do for him but just be there for him.

"Everest?" I turned around to see Stanley awake. Hey, how are you feeling, sweetheart?" Stanley sat up a little bit. I still feel nauseous." Stanley struggled to get out before he jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, where he slammed the door, and I heard him start to retch.

I walked into the bathroom to see Stanley throwing up everything he had probably eaten from the past couple of days.

"Stanley, do you think we should take you to a doctor?" I shook my head at my husband's question

"Stanley, do you think we should take you to a doctor?" I shook my head at my husband's question. "N-no...I'll be alright." I stuttered out, the smells of stomach bile and acid stung my nose.

"Are you sure?" Everest asked me, his stubbornness shining through.  "I'm fine," I snapped, which was strange to do to him.  I never snapped at Everest ever even when I wasn't ill.  "You need to focus on you leaving to go join the army, stop worrying about me so damn much!"  I got up from the toilet, walking by Everest.  "Stanley." I felt Everest grab my wrist, and I shook him off.

"Don't touch me!" I shouted, and Everest put both of his hands up. Okay," Everest walked away from me. I should've known better; you don't like being touched when you're ill." I sighed, sitting down on the bed and placing a hand on my forehead.

"You probably think I don't want you around." Everest sat down in front of me. "Stanley, You're alright, I just should've never stepped over any of your boundaries," Everest replied, knowing he did wrong but honestly, he didn't do anything wrong, I was the one in the wrong. I was the one who should say I'm sorry, not him.
