(Stanley: 5 months, 20 weeks)
Everest and I sat on our couch, looking down at a list of baby names we had compiled. "I like the name, Lee, but I think it would make a good middle name if it's a boy," I replied, rubbing my large bump, resting my hand on it.
"Let me see what we could use for a first name," Everest informed. Even though we had lists in front of us, we still wanted to use the internet to find names that stood out to us more than what we had written down. "How about Alexander?"
"No, that's so basic," I replied, "It's so overused."
"How about James?"
"Too old-fashioned."
"Okay, what do you have in mind?" Everest asked me, before I sat up a little. "How about Riley? We could use it either way, if it's a boy or a girl." Everest nodded. "I like that, Riley Lee." I laughed before I felt a weird feeling.
"Whoa." I breathed out, placing a hand on my stomach, only to feel the weird feeling again. My face lit up to finally realized what it was; The baby was kicking.
"Everest, give me your hand." I said, grabbing my husband's hand.

"Whoa, I felt that one," I said, gently placing my hand on Stanley's large bump, feeling our baby's energetic kicks. Stanley chuckled at my reaction, finding comfort in our shared joy and anticipation. "We get to know what we are having tomorrow, you excited about it?"
"Yes, I am." Stanley informed, "Very. So, the little one will finally get a name."
We both laughed. "Yeah, but after that you'll be leaving." I wrapped Stanley up in a hug. "Don't worry, I'll be back like I was this time around." Stanley nodded. I knew deep down he wanted me to stay, but he also knew I couldn't.
Which tore at me terribly since Stanley was growing closer to the end of his pregnancy, that's another thing that scared me was Stanley getting closer to delivering our baby.
I was scared to death I was going to miss it; seeing our son or daughter being born was something I didn't want to miss. I knew for a fact that Robert and the others would be there for Stanley when he did give birth but It's suppose to be a special moment between Stan and I.
"Everest?" Stanley said, touching my arm, causing me to snap out of my thoughts. "Yeah?"
"You okay?" He asked me, "You spaced out there for a second."
I shook my head. "Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking."
"About?"
"It's nothing to worry about," I replied, kissing him on the lips. "I love you."
"I love you, too, Everest." Stanley flinched, which I knew I was forgetting someone. I went down to Stanley's bump. "I love you too, little one."
Stanley laughed at my actions. "How about some tea?"
"Sounds good to us." Stanley blabbed, rubbing his bump to calm the baby down. I smiled and walked into the kitchen to make some tea for us.
